Every club in FIFA 22 has a name and this is how they are recognized in-game. As you start your career in Ultimate Team, FIFA's most popular mode, you will be able to choose a club. The game will offer you a set list of club names to choose from at the start.
Ultimate Team is about building your dream team and as a result, you probably want to create your own name for your club. Fortunately, you can change your club name in FIFA 22. You can even change the abbreviation for your club, which the game will display during matches.

Select this, and you will see an option called Club Name. Press Enter/A/X to select it. Once you have changed your club name, the changes will be instant.
With FIFA 22 being in early access until its full release, the progress you make will carry over to the full game. This means any progress you make in Ultimate Teams will transfer. This includes your club's name so make sure it is one that you truly want to use.
