Forager is one of the best farming games, including mining, gathering, and other amazing features, and it is very similar to Minecraft. Just like Minecraft, sometimes it could use just a little something to take it to a whole new level, something like mods. Mods can mean a bunch of new features and mechanics added to the game or maybe just a little fix to structures already intact. There are tons of them to try, so we put together a list to help you pick out a few!
Best Forager Mods List
There are tons of community-made mods that really expand on the Forager experience, where it is simple vanilla fixes or whole new features that make the game even more enjoyable. We picked some of the best-rated mods on Skymods and created this list for you to try them out for yourself! Take a look at them below:
Droid Visibility Changer
Droids are a super helpful late-game mechanic that allows you to have some help mining, harvesting, and completing different activities around the world. But let's be honest; those droids can sometimes get in the way or block your view, especially if you have quite a few of them. This droid visibility mod is a simple but effective way to make your view a little smoother by allowing you to resize and toggle visibility for your droids.
One Ore = One Bar
One Ore = One Bar is exactly as it sounds. You can stockpile bars easier than ever because this mod makes it so you only need one ore per bar to craft them. You can spend less time trying to mine materials and finally craft the items you need in no time.
Mining Drill
Mining and digging for resources and artifacts can take time, and maybe you have other activities that need to be completed as well. That's why Mining Drill is one of the most useful additions to the game, allowing you to continuously mine for items passively while you do other things. You can unlock the Drill after unlocking the new Drilling skill, then craft it and place it anywhere in your world.

Cave's Scrollable Structure List
If you're a sucker for mods like I am, then you probably have a plethora of mods in your structure list. The problem is that list can be hard to navigate through and sometimes does not even display all the items you have available. This mod is a quick fix that can easily solve that problem. It will make your structure list scrollable, so you can easily navigate your way through and place the items you want.
Forager Evolved
Forager Evolved is a bunch of goodies all in one. This pack comes with some of the best additions to your game, such as new cosmetics, building options, food, accessibility changes, and more. If you're looking to change up your experience, this mod can make that super easy without you having to individually download each little mod separately.
Remove Structures
Structures can sometimes get in the way, especially in a good like this where you will want to build and expand your creations as much as possible. That's why this mod can be a convenient little option to have, allowing you to get rid of items and structures you don't want around anymore, clearing up some free space for things you actually want.
PencilPal (BETA)
PencilPal is a mod, currently in beta creation, that allows you to play multiplayer with another player online and enjoy the experience in every aspect together. Since the game is in early development, you may notice a few little bugs and problems along the way, so make sure you read the description and steps before trying it out. If you're looking to bring someone along for the ride, this is the way to do it!
JJBA Stands
Anyone who is a big fan of anime will probably appreciate this JJBA Stands mod more than others. It brings in Stands, inspired by the anime and manga Jo-Jo's Bizzare Adventure. Stands are heroes that fight alongside you, each with their own individual powers and abilities. To summon them, you'll need to craft special arrows and then dig up Holy artifacts to use with them. Then, you'll never have to worry about enemies again.

Forager Again!
Even the little things can make for a better experience in Forager, and this Forager Again mod gives you a taste of a bunch of new little items, such as food, items, gear, materials, structures, a ton of decorations, and even a magic wand. It also makes a few Vanilla changes to the game that improve the experience as much as possible, allowing enemies to drop more essential materials and allowing you to get more resources in general.
Better Forager
Better Forager is much like the Forager Again mod, adding a bunch of items altogether, but it focuses more on the gear side of things. It adds in a ton of new weapons, armor, pickaxes, accessories, materials, and more. Plus, they aren't just any old items; they can have special effects and magic abilities as well.
How to Mod Forager
Modding Forager can be a complicated task and really a hit-a-miss depending on what mods you want to get and where you have the game. Mods usually only work on PCs, meaning if you have the game on a console, you won't be able to enjoy these same features. There are two different ways you can try to install mods on your PC:
How to install Forager mods with Steam
Downloading mods through Steam is one of the simplest ways to get mods and the most reliable because it will cut down the time and difficulty by a ton, but you will need to have the game on Steam for it to work. If you're going through Skymods, all you have to do is press the link below the mod that says On Steam Workshop. This will redirect you to Steam, where you can press the Subscribe button to log into your account and download the mod. It should directly connect to the game and show up on the next start-up.
How to install Forager mods manually
If you're playing a non-Steam version of the game on a PC, you can attempt to download mods and place them manually in your game files, but this is a bit more difficult. To complete it this way, you'll need to download the mod files and place them in the right game files by navigating there yourself.
First, select Download on the mod you want on your website of choice. Be sure to read all descriptions and instructions beforehand; some mods will have other links to go to for you to get the right files for manual download.
Then, look up the file location C:\Users\$your_username_here$\AppData\Local\Packages\HumbleBundle.ForagerWin10_q2mcdwmzx4qja\LocalState\mods or right-click on the game's shortcut and select Open File Location. Either of those ways so takes you to the right spot where you can hopefully find a mods folder and place the downloaded mod files. Be sure to extract any zipped files first before placing them in the game's mod folder.
If there isn't a mods folder already available inside, you can create a new folder and name it exactly: mods. Then you'll need to open your game, head into the Modding settings and enable all the ones shown there for them to work.
These are some of the best Forager mods that we found in the top-rated spots of Skymods, but there are plenty of other features and options to try out. Keep scrolling to select even more goodies, and follow our steps to download them correctly so you can fully enjoy your brand-new experience!
