How to play in the Super Flakes Cup in Fortnite

To get the skin for free, players will have to play in the Super Flakes Cup on February 23. This is a Duos Zero Build tournament, so players have to grab a friend or a trusted partner to get started. It'll be important to check the in-game Compete tab to see when the tournament starts because it differs based on region. The newly created NA Central region will not be an option in this tournament.

Unlike many tournaments that exist in Fortnite, the Super Flakes Cup doesn't require players to have a certain Arena rating before hopping in. The only requirements are that you are at least Account Level 15, at least 13 years old, and have two-factor authentication enabled on your account.

What is the Super Flakes Cup format in Fortnite?

The open Duos format means players of all skill levels will be filling up the competitive pool in this tournament, but none of that matters if players don't know how to earn points. Eliminations is always a tried and true method, but placements are king for getting points in a hurry. Here's how it shakes out.

  • Victory Royale: 25 points
  • 2nd: 22 points
  • 3rd: 20 points
  • 4th: 18 points
  • 5th: 17 points
  • 6th: 16 points
  • 7th: 15 points
  • 8th: 14 points
  • 9th: 13 points
  • 10th: 12 points
  • 11th: 11 points
  • 12th: 10 points
  • 13th: Nine points
  • 14th: Eight points
  • 15th: Seven points
  • 16th: Six points
  • 17th: Five points
  • 18th to 19th: Four points
  • 20th to 21st: Three points
  • 22nd to 23rd: Two points
  • 24th to 25th: One point
  • Each Elimination: One point

Teams will likely have to fight at least a little bit to get over the hump and be one of the winners of the skin, but playing slow and avoiding fights will be viable. Players will have the ability to play in up to 10 games over the course of three hours, and even players that don't win the skin should still be able to come away with something.

What are the Super Flakes Cup rewards in Fortnite?

Top performers will earn the skin, but players who come away with at least eight points get Flakes Tag spray. What's more: 16 points will reward the Hello! Hello! emote as well.

Winning the skin depends on the region, and here's how that plays out.

  • Europe: 1st to 1500th
  • NA East: 1st to 1000th
  • NA West: 1st to 500th
  • Brazil: 1st to 500th
  • Asia: 1st to 300th
  • Oceania: 1st to 300th
  • Middle East: 1st to 300th

Finishing in any of those ranges will win players the spray, emote, as well as the Flakes Power skin, Electric Crescents pickaxe, and Electro-Crest back bling. There's a lot up for grabs here, so players will want to give it their all.
