A new set of Fortnitemares quests has gone live, and one of them requires you to assist in stealing items from a Vault display case. As is tradition, you'll be rewarded with 15,000 XP and exclusive Fortnite Halloween-themed cosmetics for completing the quest.

Where to find the Vault display case in Fortnite

Here are two designated quest locations where you can find the vault display cases in Fortnite:

  • Sanguine Suites
  • Relentless Retreat

We've also marked the exact locations in the above image for your convenience. It's important to note that these locations are likely to be crowded as they contain rare loot and are quest locations. Therefore, you should be careful when landing in these vault locations, as you may encounter other players along with Thorne's security guards.

How to steal items from a Vault display case in Fortnite

Once you land at one of the four quest locations, head to the basement of the building and engage with the security guards protecting the Vault. One of the guards will drop the keycard for the Vault, and you must collect it to access the display cases. Once you have the keycard, make your way towards the Vault location and use the keycard to open it.

Inside the Vault, you'll see a bunch of display cases containing various mythic weapons. To steal a weapon, stand close to one of the display cases and hold the X button. To complete the quest, you have to steal items from a Vault display case twice. After that, you will rewarded with 15,000 XP and exclusive Fortnite Halloween-themed cosmetics. Keep in mind that stealing items from display cases will trigger a lockdown, which alerts all the nearby guards.
