How to survive the landing at The Collider in Fortnite

The scariest thing in Fortnite right now is landing at The Collider. Since almost everyone is landing here at this point, the best idea is to stay away from it. However, if you still want to land here, make sure you land at the Doomsday device itself. Once you've landed, make your way to the Siege Cannons. If you cannot find the cannon, make your way to the closest chest that you can spot or reach for the closest gun that you spot. At this point, even if its a gun with grey or green rarity, you should survive. Having a weak gun is better than having no gun at all.

Assuming that you've safely landed at The Collider and you've cleared the zone of all hostiles, you need to make your way out of here. There are three different ways in which you can escape this POI. The first way is the most common method—you walk/run out. However, you might encounter enemies this way.

Alternatively, you could use the numerous IO Launch Pads that you will come across on the platforms of The Collider itself. Use any one of these to launch yourself, then use your glider to glide away. If you want to spice things up a bit, climb into one of the Siege Cannons placed at this location. Then, use the alt-fire button to launch yourself into the sky. Use your glider to fly away.

Surviving at the Collider - Tips and tricks

If you're checking out The Collider in the regular Fortnite lobbies, your best bet is to build your way out. If you're planning on building for defense, stock up on building materials the moment you land. Alternatively, you could team up with a friend and land here. You could each provide one another with cover while exploring this place.
