After being teased for years, Baizhu has become a playable character in Genshin Impact. This wily pharmacist with a snake around his neck can do it all—heal, shield, and apply Dendro—but don't expect him to deal much personal damage. Genshin Impact Baizhu Build Guide - Baizhu's Playstyle

Baizhu has a kit full of healing and shielding abilities. While most support characters are only able to take advantage of one of the two mechanics, both abilities scale off of Baizhu's Max HP, so no split scaling.

While his personal damage is a bit lackluster, you can also use him as a Dendro applier in certain team compositions. This will boost the amount of Dendro Elemental reactions a team can generate. However, his capability here pales to that of general support, and he should be built with that in mind.

Best Weapons for Baizhu in Genshin Impact

Five-star characters always come with their own signature weapon. Baizhu has Jadefall's Splendor, a weapon that significantly boosts his max HP. It also boosts the capability of his Elemental Burst, adding Energy restoration and a little bit of extra damage.

While his signature weapon would be nice to have, other four-star, free-to-play options can be almost just as useful. Try using either Prototype Amber, if you have the materials to craft it, or the Favonius Codex. The first would be preferred, but don't knock the energy regeneration capability you could get from the latter.

Best Artifacts for Baizhu in Genshin Impact

Baizhu is a very flexible support character who can take advantage of many different Artifact sets. You could use either the Deepwood Memories, Noblesse Oblige, or Tenacity of the Milelith sets. Make sure that no other character on the team you intend to use him with is wearing these sets, though. That can negate the benefits.

If you want to use something that boosts Baizhu personally, you could use the Ocean-Hued Clam set to boost his healing and provide a little extra damage to boot. For Artifact stats, focus on giving Baizhu as much HP% as possible. You can also use an Energy Recharge Sands piece or a Healing Bonus Circlet if it helps to get artifacts of the right set. Substats should prioritize more HP and Energy Recharge. If you have enough of both, Elemental Mastery is nice to have.

Best teammates for Baizhu in Genshin Impact

Baizhu is incredibly flexible. Plan to use him with other Pyro, Hydro, or Electro characters that utilize Dendro-based reactions, such as Quicken and Bloom. In particular, he supports Electro Main DPS characters, such as Cyno or Raiden Shogun.

To take advantage of the EM bonus for having two or more Dendro characters on your team, you should include other Dendro Sub DPS characters, such as Nahida or Collei. Throwing Hydro Sub DPS characters like Xingqiu or Yelan isn't a bad idea, either.
