Genshin Impact Xianyun farming guide – all Talent & Ascension materials

Xianyun is a Genshin Impact Anemo five-star character who wields a catalyst. Despite being a new resident in Liyue, some old folks seem oddly familiar with her, and her penchant for building culinary inventions is reminiscent of a certain Cloud Retainer.

Where to farm Xianyun's level-up, Talent, & Ascension materials in Genshin Impact

Xianyun Level-up cost

Prepare the following resources to level Xianyun up to 80 or 90. I recommend pushing characters who scale off Elemental Mastery to level 90 and taking your time leveling other characters slowly.

You'll need to collect 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Xianyun to Ascension level six.

Local Specialty & Boss material

Xianyun's local specialty is the Clearwater Jade, an ore-like material that can be farmed in Chenyu Vale. Meanwhile, her boss material is the Cloudseam Scale, which can be farmed by defeating the Solitary Suanni in the same region.

Xianyun Talent level-up materials & cost

You must prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all three of Xianyun's Talents to level 10. Naturally, the cost will be a lot lower if you don't intend to triple-crown this character.

Crowns of Insight are used to level up Talents from nine to 10 and are limited rewards that can be obtained from big events. Meanwhile, Xianyun's Weekly Boss material is the Lightless Eye of the Maelstrom, which drops from the All-Devouring Narwhal in the Shadow of Another World Domain.
