Genshin Impact Yaoyao farming guide

Yaoyao is a four-star Dendro polearm user who fights alongside a bunny named Yuegui. She's the reliable student of Madame Ping, making her Xiangling's junior. And while Yaoyao has shown to be incredibly mature for her age, she still enjoys sneaking into the Crux to play. If you're interested in having her and Yuegui join your team, here's everything you need to prepare for Ascension.

Level-up cost

You need to prepare the following to level up Yaoyao to either 80 or 90. This doesn't include Ascension and Talent costs.

Ascension materials & cost

You need to prepare 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Yaoyao. The Mora value doesn't include level-up and Talent costs.

Local Specialty & Boss material

Yaoyao's preferred local specialty is the Jueyun Chili, which can be found in the northern of Liyue, around the path circling Jueyun Karst, Qingyun Peak, and Mt. Aocang. Meanwhile, her boss material, Queller Creeper, can be farmed from the Dendro Hypostasis.

These are dropped by all Dendro Normal and World Bosses, such as the Jadeplume Terrorshroom and Dendro Hypostasis. Additionally, you can convert materials using the Crafting Table to turn your existing Gemstones into Dendro ones.

You must prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all three of Yaoyao's Talents to level 10. The Mora value doesn't include character level-up and Ascension costs.

Crowns of Insight are limited rewards that can be obtained from big events. Yaoyao's World Boss material is called the Daka's Bell. It can be farmed from the Shouki no Kami in the Joururi Workshop Domain, located in Chinhat Ravine.
