Skyward Spine – How to get, Ascension, stats, and who can use it in Genshin Impact

A versatile weapon for Energy Recharge-dependent characters.

Skyward Spine is a five-star polearm that boosts the wielder's Energy Recharge, making it a perfect fit for characters reliant on casting their Elemental Burst. Additionally, it increases the wielder's Crit Rate and Normal Attack Speed, so it also has potential for characters with a Normal Attack-focused playstyle. I find that this weapon is versatile and can be switched among Genshin Impact's massive cast of polearm users.

How to get Skyward Spine in Genshin Impact

Skyward Spine is a standard banner weapon, which means that you can pull for it from the permanent Wanderlust Invocation banner, as well as all limited weapon banners. However, it also means that it's impossible to chart an Epitomized Path to target the Skyward Spine, so I don't recommend intentionally aiming to get this weapon from the gacha.

Genshin Impact Skyward Spine stats

  • Base Attack: 48 to 674
  • Substat: Energy Recharge (8 to 36.8 percent)
  • Passive: Black Wing
    • Increases Crit Rate by 8/10/12/14/16 percent and increases Normal Attack Speed by 12 percent. Additionally, Normal and Charged Attacks hits on opponents have a 50 percent chance to trigger a vacuum blade that deals 40/55/70/85/100 percent of Attack as damage in a small AoE. This effect can occur no more than once every two seconds.
