We now know who is the mysterious voice in the Inversion of Genesis Interlude Chapter in Genshin Impact

The end of the Genshin Impact Interlude Chapter: Act III - Inversion of Genesis leaves players with a major mystery: Who owns the voice that telepathically spoke to the Traveler about the broken vase? The answer is an unlikely character who was revealed in the latest Windblume Encounter called Fortune Hiding Upon Clouds.

Nicole, also known by the moniker "N," is a member of the Hexenzirkel, an assembly of witches that conduct research on the Irminsul and convene through formal tea parties held in the secret corners of the world. She was introduced as "a guide who will never get lost," who has made the world's order and direction the primary subject of her study. Nicole is known to speak to people's minds and guide them toward the truth when a change in the world has occurred.

This aligns with the timing of the mysterious voice that spoke to the Traveler after Wanderer (Scaramouche) tampered with the Irminsul and erased his existence from everyone's memories. As Alice explained Nicole's habits, the Traveler suspected that it was Nicole who had spoken to them at the end of the Interlude Chapter—essentially cementing her as the owner of the mysterious voice.

Since the Interlude Chapter was released, many players have created theories about the identity behind the mysterious voice. Some wild guesses include Istaroth, Phanes, the Tsaritsa, the Hydro Archon, the Heavenly Principles, and the unknown Descender. However, this year's Windblume event finally brings closure to the mystery.

Apart from "N," the other member of Hexenzirkel were also revealed in the event story, including "R" (Rhinedottir), Albedo's "mother;" "B" (Barbeloth), Mona's master; and "M" (Andersdotter), the writer of the legendary story called The Boar Princess.
