How to complete Freya's Missing Peace Favor in God of War Ragnarök

To get to Goddess Falls in God of War Ragnarök, you must first make a small detour to the Cliffside Ruins. Here you need to solve a small puzzle to climb vines to be able to chisel a Relic Plate to remove some rocks.

To start, you'll need to disembark from your boat on the eastern side of the river at the Cliffside Ruins. This is the same area where you can accept the Conscience for the Dead quest for Gunhild. To her right is a brick wall you can climb to reach the ledge above. From there, jump onto the top of the three pillars in the center of the beach. Standing on the farthest one from the ledge you climbed, look to the cliffside to see a golden chain blocked by red vines.

Your main objective is to remove the vine and lower the chain. Place sigil arrow marks together, as shown above, then use your Blades of Chaos to ignite the sigil closest to you with Hold L2 + R2. Return to the ground level and climb the golden chain to the cliffside above. If you follow the path, you'll come to an overlook showing the rocks in the river blocking your path. Use your chisel on the Blue Relic Plate beside you and interact with the resulting Runic Word to remove the rocks.

With the way opened, you can now get to Goddess Falls to complete Favor Freya's Missing Peace. Row to the spot shown above on the map. You'll disembark and be quickly greeted by a handful of Wulvers. Defeat them, then start rising up the falls by climbing the crumbling brick wall in the center of the beach. When you reach the ledge up top, you'll see a Lore Marker you can quickly read in a cave to your right. Continue forward by pressing O to swing across the gap in front of you.

Your path up will be forward a few paces. Interact with the crumbling wall on your right in the corner to climb up. Before you do, you can burn some red vines to your left with a sigil arrow and the Blades of Chaos, then quickly loot the red chest before you go.

When you've reached the ledge at the top of this wall, you'll see one of Odin's Ravens circling above you. Stop for a moment, hit it with a well-timed axe throw, and then jump over the waterfall to the next platform. If you have the map, you'll spot the Treasure for the Under the Rainbow Map on your left. You might also want to stop and open the Nornir Chest here.

To the left of the waterfall, with a Nornir Torch on top, is a hidden entryway covered in vines. Interact with it to prompt Freya to open the way to the Vanir Shrine.

Location of all three of Freya's Belongings in God of War Ragnarök

All three of Freya's belongings tied to her wedding that she wants to destroy are here at the Vanir shrine. However, you must find the first two before finding the final belonging. Before you can even find those two, you'll need to fight off a Soul Eater in the center of the Vanir Shrine. Once you've finished that battle, you're ready to start the search.

How to lower the drawbridge and find Freya's circlet in Goddess Falls

On your left from the center of the Vanir Shrine is a drawbridge. (There's also a Lore Marker and a Treasure Map called The Giant's Toes nearby.) To lower the drawbridge, chain sigil arrows together as shown in the picture above. Use your Blades of Chaos to ignite them, then throw your axe at the targets on both sides of the drawbridge to fully lower it.

You'll fight a few Nightmares in the next room. After they are defeated, you can find another Lore Marker here. When you are ready, continue to the next room.

Before you fight the enemies in this room, you may want to stop and solve a puzzle. You'll spot some blue brambles on your right when you enter, burn those and look through the small opening it reveals. Hit the target with your axe to open a way to a Legendary Chest in the prior room where you defeated the Nightmares. It contains a powerful Light Runic Attack for your Blades of Chaos.

With that out of the way, go back to the second room and fight the Revenants there. When you're done, you'll find Freya's Circlet in the back of the room. Once she's destroyed it, Freya will clear the green vines to your right, revealing a Runic Plate that you'll need to use your chisel on. It reveals half of a Runic Word needed to find the final belonging. For now, return to the center of the Vanir Shrine to find the second belonging.

How to open the circular door and find Freya's chalice in Goddess Falls

If you turn to your right from the entrance to the Vanir Shrine, you'll see a large circular door. You'll need to light the two torches on top of it simultaneously. Start by using a sigil arrow to burn the red vines covering the torch on the left side of the door. Then, to light both torches simultaneously, place sigil marks as shown in the picture above and light the center sigil with your Blades of Chaos.

Go through the door and try to ignore the first enemy you'll encounter. You won't be able to defeat it until you've taken care of the Nokken in the next room. You'll need to clear the red vines blocking the doorway to reach the next room. You'll spot the Nokken pretty quickly after running through the hallway. Once all the enemies are defeated, you can gather the loot in the area. You'll need to find the chalice resting on a pedestal in the back right corner of the second room, where the Nokken was.

Freya will reveal another Relic Plate in the back left corner of the room. It will unlock the second half of the Runic Word that you'll need to reach the third belonging.

Freya's third belonging location in the Vanir Shrine

Now that the Runic Word is complete, return to the entrance of the Vanir Shrine and interact with the word to reveal a path to the center of the shrine. You'll find a Lore Scroll to the right of a door you'll break open with your chisel. No need to fight here, you'll just need to watch a cutscene as Freya comes to terms with her past and takes her sword with her. This will unlock the Mardöll sword option for Freya. Take a look at the Lore Marker as you leave the room and the Vanir Shrine.

How to beat the two Drekki in Goddess Falls

Thought you were done fighting? Not quite. After you leave the Vanir Shrine, just as you are about to get back in your boat, a Drekki will nearly eat you. Press O repeatedly to escape its jaws and start the fight with not one Drekki, but two. We recommend focusing on one at a time, starting with the Black and Red Drekki. Stay out of the water if you can because the electrified Blue and Red Drekki will have an advantage there. Once you've killed them both, this favor will be complete.
