All Roles in Goose Goose Duck, Explained

There is some fowl play among us...

Goose Goose Duck is a multiplayer social deduction game that pits a gaggle of geese against evil ducks. The geese must determine who the duck is or be murdered (not by crows). Goose Goose Duck is heavily inspired by Among Us but has some distinctions.

One of these distinctions is the number of roles that Goose Goose Duck has. These roles are optional and can be turned on or off when wanted. There is a lot to keep track of with 24 different roles, including neutral, goose, and duck roles. You can find these roles below.

Goose Roles

  • Mechanic - Can use vents like ducks.
  • Gravy - Complete tasks to increase your bounty. At the end of the game, you will earn this bounty. But if you are killed by a duck, they will get the bounty.
  • Mimic - Other ducks will see you as a duck but can still kill you.
  • Snoop - Can hide in nooks and crannies.
  • Vigilante - You can kill any player, goose or duck, without consequence.
  • Technician - Can detect the approximate location of the sabotage on the minimap.
  • Sheriff - Can kill any player but but kill a goose has consequences.
  • Bodyguard - Gain coins by protecting a specific player throughout the game.
  • Detective - Can check once if a player has killed someone in-game.
  • Birdwatcher - Can see through walls with limited vision.
  • Canadian - After being killed by a duck, the killer will auto-report after a short period.
  • Medium - Can see ghosts of dead geese.

Duck Roles

  • Morphling - Can impersonate another player.
  • Assassin - Can kill a goose by guessing their role during a meeting. Guess wrong and you die instead.
  • Cannibal - Can eat one corpse per game, removing the body and ability to report.
  • Hitman - You will receive a bonus at the end of the game if you kill a specific player.
  • Silencer - Can mute a player in every meeting.
  • Professional - Cannot self-report after killing. Other geese cannot see the body of the player you killed.
  • Spy - Can find out a player's role by voting on them in a meeting and no one else has voted on them.
  • Lover - Has a bond with another player and will win if no other players are alive besides the Lover and that player.

Neutral Roles

  • Pigeon - Wins by infecting all players, not getting voted out, or killed by the duck.
  • Dodo - Wins if voted out by other players.
  • Falcon - Automatically wins if the last survivor. If three players remains a timer will start and if the falcon is alive at the end of the timer, they win the game.
  • Vulture - Eats corpses of geese to win. If a player spots the body and calls a meeting, the corpse disappears.
