If you are wondering what Runeglass gems are in New World, it's simple. In short, Runeglass gems are a new variant of gems that you can get by crafting them from cut pristine gems. Runeglass gems will offer more bonuses and additional effects added to the bonuses from pristine gems.

There are 14 versions of Runeglass gems you can craft from all 14 pristine gem types. Each of these Runeglass gem variants will offer 1 11 unique bonuses for a specific damage type. Here's what each variant offers in terms of bonuses 

  • Empowered: Adds Arcane damage.
  • Ignited: Adds burning damage.
  • Leeching: Adds Leeching damage.
  • Freezing: Adds Ice damage.
  • Electrified: Adds Lighting damage.
  • Siphoning: Adds Mana Siphoning.
  • Punishing: Adds Melee damage.
  • Arboreal: Adds Nature damage.
  • Sighted: Adds Range damage.
  • Energizing: Adds Energizing. 
  • Abyssal: Adds Void damage.

How to craft Runeglass gems in New World

To craft Runeglass gems in New World, you must use a Tier 5 Stonecutting table and have level 180 in Stonecutting. If you meet both requirements, you can make Runeglass gems using a specific Runeglass Case. Using a specific Runeglass case will add one of the damage types listed above. 

For example, if you want a Runeglass gem that adds Ranged damage, you must use a Runeglass Case of Sight. You can get Runeglass cases for any variant of Runeglass gems by crafting them inside the weaponsmith station. However, before making Rungeglass cases, you must have level 180 in weaponsmith. That said, once you have a Runeglass case, you can make one Runeglass gem using the following materials. 

  • One Cut Pristine gem (Any type)
  • One Runeglass Case 
  • One Gold Ingot
  • Two Pure Solvent

How to use Runeglass gems in New World

Once you craft a Runeglass gem in New World, you can use it the same way as any other gem. In short, click and drag a Runeglass gem onto a piece of equipment such as weapons and armor. Doing so fuse the gem into the item, giving you whatever bonuses it has.
