Hero's Hour is an auto-battler strategy game with plenty to do. While combat plays a large part in the fun, exploring the overworld is also incredibly important for various reasons. One of these is finding and digging up buried treasure.

How to find buried treasure in Hero's Hour

To find buried treasure in Hero's Hour, you will want to find an obelisk. These appear in different colors on the overworld and show you an unfocused treasure map. The map is nearly illegible until you collect the floating obelus of the matching color. These spawn once you interact with an obelisk.

These obeli spawn near the obelisk, and you will need to collect a few of them. Each one you collect makes the map clearer until, eventually, you can pinpoint the treasure's location marked by the X. You can use the surrounding terrain to find the treasure once your map begins to focus.

How to dig in Hero's Hour

To dig in Hero's Hour, you must first find the location of buried treasure. You cannot dig in a location that does not contain buried treasure. The dig function is done by clicking the shovel icon on the right side of your screen. It will light up when you are standing on the treasure.

Once you dig, the treasure will spawn around that spot. This tends to include a variety of artifacts and resources, so you should make sure to complete the treasure hunt when you spot an obelisk.
