There are multiple ways to get spells in Hero's Hour. Some heroes start with spells, while others do not, but all heroes can get spells. Here are the three methods you can view to get spells in Hero's Hour:

  • Recruit mage heroes
  • Level up
  • Build the Guild of Mages in your town

The easiest way to get more spells is to recruit mage heroes, as they begin with spells. When leveling up your heroes, you can sometimes select a level-up perk to learn a random spell of an element equal to your rank.

Building the Guild of Mages and other structures in your town will allow your heroes to learn spells by visiting that town. Additionally, some overworld encounters will teach your heroes spells when they visit, but these seem to be random. Spells can be extremely powerful, so you should prioritize learning them, especially for mage heroes.
