How to defeat Glinthawks in Horizon Forbidden West?

How do you defeat these flying machines?

In Horizon Forbidden West, Glinthawks will attack players with elemental damage that can be devastating in the heat of a battle. A great way to combat these machines is to take out the part of their body that is responsible for these attacks. For the Frost Glinthawk, taking out its Chillwater Sac will result in its elemental damage being diminished, saving Aloy a lot of HP in battle.

Cauldron

In Horizon Forbidden West, Cauldrons allow players to override the machines within that Cauldron once they have completed it. Completing a Cauldron usually means traversing through its dungeon-like corridors and facing off against a boss at the end. The Glinthawk is a part of the IOTA Overrides Cauldron.
