How to defeat Longlegs in Horizon Forbidden West?

How do you defeat these bird-like machines?

The best way to tackle a fight with a Longleg in Horizon Forbidden West is to target their body parts responsible for some of its most devastating attacks. Targeting and destroying a Longleg's Wing Burner will disable its Fire elemental effect attacks making it a much smaller threat to players.
