How to reach max level in Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix

Were you planning on getting anything done this month, or?

Kingdom Hearts 1.5 ReMix employs a very simple leveling structure: defeat Heartless, earn EXP, and watch Sora, Donald, and Goofy blossom into an all-powerful trio fit to banish a plethora of darkness. Unfortunately, reaching the max level of 100 isn't the walk in the park you'd come to expect from a Disney video game. Like any role-playing game, it requires persistence and dedication, along with hundreds of hours of patrolling areas a thousand times over for farming opportunities.

That all being said, there are a few certain spots and techniques that allow for the trio to gain experience at a much greater pace. Just be warned, it isn't exactly an overnight thing.

Locations

  • Olympus Coliseum: One of the most obvious places to grind levels is at the Olympus Coliseum. By participating in the slew of Cups the world has to offer, Sora, Donald, and Goofy can obtain large sums of EXP and climb levels a lot quicker. Furthermore, beating the Rock Titan in the Hades Cup serves up 6,800+ XP and can be completed in less than a minute. Providing you have already cleared the Cup, then you can rinse and repeat the Rock Titan battle as many times as you wish.
Of course, Sephiroth, being the toughest boss in the entire game, is another enemy worth taking into consideration when levelling. Although it is recommended that you reach at least level 75 or above before facing him, the veteran combatant does give out 18,000XP for every win.
  • Traverse Town: An easy route that is packed full of Heartless is within the Second District of Traverse Town. Starting at the Hotel, you can work through the hallways, followed by the alleyway, and then finally out into the Gizmo Shop, where enemies bunch up by the dozen. Rinse and repeat the cycle multiple times, and you should see a gradual increase in levels.
Halloween Town: After rescuing Kairi in Hollow Bastion, return to Halloween Town, or more specifically, the Manor Ruins area. Here, you can find endless waves of Heartless both large and small, all of which give out a significant amount of EXP. Repeat the lap several times, and before long, you will see a steady climb in levels.
