The Horrifying Monster! is a misleading Hidden Story in Lost Ark. It is located in the Skyreach Steppe area in Tortoyk. Do not worry, you won't be battling anything because it's really just a joke quest.

Where is The Horrifying Monster! Hidden Story?

You can find this Hidden Story on the east side of Skyreach Steppe. It's located right at the edge of the map. You're looking for a pomeranian breed dog. Even though you cannot pet it, it looks like you are petting it when you investigate it.

The dog is hiding under the leaves of a tree, so carefully scan the foliage for brown spots. If you stand close to the trees and move your cursor around, it will become a gear when you are in the area of the dog.

Since this is one of the few quests without a time limit, we recommend doing it first since it is so easy. Furthermore, it is one of the only places where you won't be attacked by spawning enemies, since they spawn farther away.
