The best Jane Foster decks in Marvel Snap

One of the rarest card effects in Marvel Snap is card draw. In terms of cards that can legitimately draw cards from your own deck, only two cards exist, those being Adam Warlock and Jane Foster, The Mighty Thor. Adam Warlock is usually a better card draw outlet, but suffers from a terrible Cost and Power line that makes his effect very hard to activate. In contrast, Jane Foster can only draw zero Cost cards, but in the right deck this is a major boon. With that in mind, here are some of the best Jane Foster decks in Marvel Snap.

What decks best utilize Jane Foster in Marvel Snap?

Generic Lockjaw

The most prevalent archetype that utilizes Jane Foster is Lockjaw, and for good reason. Lockjaw is one of the most powerful Series 3 cards, and its decks specialize in a precise mix of low- and high-Cost cards so that Lockjaw has the best chance possible to pull big cards out of your deck. Because of this, these decks will run Wasp and Thor. Wasp is a zero Cost card and Thor generates a zero Cost Mjolnir to your deck. This not only gives you two great targets to throw into Lockjaw, but it also allows Jane Foster to draw these two cards out of your deck, making for an incredibly powerful cycling effect that 99% of archetypes in the game can't effectively replicate.

While it may seem redundant to throw another Lockjaw deck in this list, the On Reveal Lockjaw archetype has many different play patterns that separate it from its more generic counterpart. Rather than simply looking to flip small cards into big cards, the On Reveal version looks to create synergies with its On Reveal cards to flood the board and disrupt the opponent. One of the deck's most powerful play patterns is to use Storm to lock down a location and then play Doctor Doom or White Tiger to cheat Power into it.

Finally departing from Lockjaw, Mister Negative has been one of the game's most beloved archetypes since Marvel Snap's beta. Over time, Negative decks have changed optimal form many times, with some players using Zabu, Silver Surfer, and other cards to create unique play patterns. One other interesting version of these decks is the Jane Foster version, which looks to play Jane Foster on the fifth turn to draw all of the Negative-swapped cards in the deck. The best possible play pattern for this deck is to get Negative down on the third or fourth turn, then Jane Foster to draw all of the now-zero Cost cards in your deck, making for a ridiculously strong and surprising final turn to take the game.
