Mangrove Swamps are essentially an alternative version of regular Swamp biomes in Minecraft, with deeper waters, frogs, fish, and mangrove trees' uniquely red wood.
They were introduced in The Wild Update in Minecraft 1.19, along with Ancient Cities. If you're looking to experience them in their full glory, this list contains some of the best, most unique, biggest, and most resource-filled Mangrove Swamps there are in Minecraft 1.20.

I've seen several instances of Mangrove Swamps combining with Windswept and Desert biomes. However, this one does something a little different by combining the swamp with a Savanna biome! Their colors mesh well together, especially with the contrasting oranges of the Savanna Village.

Mangrove Lake

Most of the Mangrove Swamps I've explored have been densely packed and filled with mud. This one is similar, except for a beautiful lake in the middle of the swamp! It contains lilypads and lots of tropical fish, plus a secret ravine beneath the water. It's a gorgeous view that every Minecraft player should experience at least once.
