How to make an Ender Chest in Minecraft

Want to take a chest worth of stuff with you? The answer is Ender Chests my friend, and here is how to make them in Minecraft.

In Minecraft, the player has a limited inventory space; thus, they need to build chests, but if you make an ender chest, you can take the entire inventory of a chest with you.

How to craft an ender chest in Minecraft

To make an ender chest in Minecraft, you will need six obsidian and one eye of ender placed inside a crafting table. You will need to have the six obsidian in every crafting table slot but the middle one; in the middle space, you will need to place the eye of ender. If you need an example of how to place the items inside the crafting table, check the image below.

But if you don't have either of the materials required to make an ender chest, we'll explain both starting with how to get obsidian. Overall, finding obsidian is very easy; the hard part is mining it. To start, to get obsidian, you generally need to make it yourself by finding lava; you can find lava spawning underground and around mountains on the surface. Once you find lava, dump water on it, and it will turn into obsidian blocks, and all you need to do then is mine it with a diamond pickaxe

After obsidian, you will need an eye of ender, which requires enders pearls and blaze powder. To get ender pearls, all you need to do is hunt Endermen, and they will drop a pearl upon death. But to get blaze powder, you will need to first find and kill blazes, which are found in the nether, inside large nether fortresses.

Upon death, blazes will drop an item called blaze rods; you will need blaze rods to make blaze powder. When you get some blaze rods, simply place them anywhere inside a crafting table to make the blaze powder. Once you have both blaze powder and ender pearls, you can then make the eye of ender with the following recipe pattern below.

After you make the eye of ender, go back in this guide and follow the recipe we showed at the start of this guide to make an ender chest.
