New World will launch on the 28th across multiple game regions, but each world region will unlock at a specific time, unlike most releases. The reason for this is that the servers for each time zone playable in New World will go live at different times.
This process is undoubted to ensure a timely and orderly release of New World and let players of a region get into the game free of lag and server issues. Launching the servers at different times will also cause less server strain as a whole and cause a more enjoyable experience for all.

Overall, Amazon Games wish to avoid any problems that occur during the betas or long queue times. So this process they are going with is probably the best way to go about it.Â
Amazon games have also chosen to launch the Australian servers at a time that lings up with the other server launches. The goal of this is so that the community of New World is not divided on launch.
