To buy a house in New World, you will need to level up until you reach the rank of 15. When you reach this point, the ability to purchase houses will unlock for you in the various settlements that litter the game world.
However, you won't just need to level up to get a house, and you will also need to level and raise your town standing level before you can even purchase a house.
Starting out, the first house level will unlock with level 10 standing in the game, and if you want better houses, you will need to continually raise your level to an endpoint of 30, which allows you to get the best house.Â

Purchasing a house in New World can cost thousands of gold as well. In fact, the prices can range from anywhere from 2k to 20k, depending on the house. Because of this, you will need to farm money which you can earn from killing enemies, quests, and the repeatable faction quests.
You will also need to farm these things to raise your character level, and you will need to raise your town level by doing town board missions, which also reward gold. That being said, another way to raise your town level is simply by killing the enemies you find in a specific region, completing many quests, and gathering resources.
