How to search chests in New World

Here's how to search chests in New World.

You will often get the occasional quest that will require you to search a certain amount of chests to complete them.

To search chests in New World, you will need to locate various chests and containers in various quest locations. The times you need to locate and search these containers will also depend on the quest, some times it will only be two others up to seven.

Overall these quests are not hard to complete once you know what you are looking for. Just starting in the game, you may think you have to search only chests, but this is far from the case. If you were only looking for chests as the game says you need to do, you can't complete the quest.

Luckily, all searchable containers in New World count as chests, including supply caches, food boxes, and supply chests. You'll also know when you find something that matters as a chest as it will usually be on a landmark building, such as a platform in a temple or house in an overrun village.

Searchable containers will also glow with a white highlight when you see them identifying them as containers. As a side note, these supply caches and various containers can often be a good source for resources and food items in the game. Because of this, we highly recommend searching containers whenever you find them in New World.
