How to beat Mother Miranda Resident Evil Shadows of Rose

Like the Main Resident Evil Village game, Mother Miranda is the final boss players must face in the Shadows of Rose DLC. Luckily, beating Mother Miranda is easy as long as players know how and when to attack her. So if you were struggling with the Mother Miranda fight, following our steps and tips will help you easily win it. Warning: spoilers below.

All steps to beating Mother Miranda in Resident Evil Shadows of Rose

Beating Mother Miranda requires surviving long enough until Rose activates her full powers. When Rose activates her powers, she can deal massive damage to Mother Miranda by using a special Megamycete power attack. However, the special Megamycete power attack requires yellow mold to refill her Megamycete power bar.

You can get mold to refill the Megamycete bar by waiting until Miranda sends glowing yellow balls of mold your way. When this happens, you will want to hit the CTRL key or console equivalent to catch it in time. The trick to catching the mold is waiting until the last second before the mold reaches you to catch it. Catching the mold will fill your power bar a little each time, so we recommend catching as much mold as possible to refill your bar completely. 

Once you have a full Megamycete power bar, you can use the power to send Mother Miranda on her way to the afterlife. To use the Megamycete power you just gained, press the G key or console equivalent. Pressing G will cause Rose to send a tree sprout attack that will damage Mother Miranda, as shown below. However, before using the special Megamycete power attack, ensure Mother Miranda is close enough to you. 

You do not want to waste any special Megamycete power attacks, as it will take time to gather more mold. Don't worry if you miss a special attack, just use the unique dodge ability Rose has to avoid Miranda's attacks until she starts sending more yellow mold at you.

Eventually, if you keep saving mold and attacking Miranda, she will enter the final phase of the boss fight in Resident Evil Shadows of Rose. When she enters the final phase, a cutscene will play. After the cutscene, you must press the G key or console equivalent to send one final massive attack at her. This one last attack will kill her, ending the fight and the game.
