Where to find Technicians in Stalker Anomaly

If you want to pay a Technician to repair your weapon, you must find one at one of the various locations in Stalker Anomaly. However, there are a ton of locations, so you will need to narrow the list down. Luckily, you can do so by opening your PDA and looking for a certain icon on the map. The icon you want to watch out for is a gear icon, and holding your cursor will reveal a location where you can find a Technician. You can find one such Technician at the Farm location north of Rookie Village, as shown below.

Find this Technician and choose the My equipment needs some tweaking option when speaking to them. Doing so will make a menu shown below appear. Inside this menu, you can repair any weapons you have by clicking on them while they are in your inventory. Clicking on a weapon will make a wrench icon appear on the right. Click the icon, and you can repair your weapon for a certain number of rubles. The cost of repairing your weapon will vary depending on its durability. Low durability items will cost more to repair, while higher durability items will cost less to repair. Because of this, the best way to improve damaged weapons is by using the Workbench.

How to repair weapons using a Workbench in Stalker Anomaly

To repair weapons using a Workbench, you must first find a Technician at a location such as the Farm in Cordan. While speaking to a Technician, you must choose the option Can I use your vice? I need to fix something up. After selecting the option, you need to pay 1K rubles to use the workbench, and you will have five minutes in real time to do so. Once you have paid the 1K rubles, walk to a nearby workbench like the one below and hit F on it.

Opening the workbench will reveal a menu with several options to repair your weapons. You must click the wrench icon shown above. On the next menu, you can repair your weapons, but only if you have the required parts and a special tool kit. In short, all weapons in the game will need a special tool kit and parts you can get by dismantling weapons. For example, if you want to repair a Shotgun, you need a Shotgun tool kit and shotgun weapon parts.

You can get the Shotgun tool kit from looting and from merchants. But to get the Shotgun parts, you must dismantle shotguns until you get enough parts. You can find out what parts you need to repair your shotgun or whatever weapon by right-clicking on the weapon and hitting Details. Under Details, you can find a list of everything you need to repair your weapon under the Replacement parts list. Another way to check what parts you need is to look under the Repair section of a workbench.
