How to recruit companions in Weird West

Ride together or die alone.

Traveling through the different regions in Weird West can be dangerous. While you may be inclined to travel quietly and alone, sometimes it is better to form a posse and bring a few extra guns with you. This may leave you wondering how to recruit companions in Weird West.

To recruit companions in Weird West, you must find willing gunslingers, travelers, and more who will accompany you. They can often be found in saloons, trapped in certain locations, and more. You can even recruit characters you have already played by finding them on the map. You may have to purchase some companions' services.

Can companions die in Weird West?

The answer is yes—companions can die in Weird West. However, you can heal them by standing near them and holding down the interact button. This will give them one of your bandages and restore a portion of their health. Eating food or drinking from water barrels will also heal your companions.

So, if you find yourself going from gunfight to gunfight, make sure to stop every once in a while to heal up your posse. Bring a shovel so you can bury your fallen comrades if they fall, too!
