What's new in Zelda Tears of the Kingdom?

The floating islands are the most obvious new addition to Hyrule in Tears of the Kingdom. These dot the skies above Hyrule and will offer new ways to explore the world. We spotted glowing green spots, which may be how Link is able to reach the floating kingdom. Other new additions include the rails that Link that ride on, possible underground areas, and more.

What returns from Zelda Breath of the Wild?

We still see many familiar features in Hyrule, from Breath of the Wild to Tears of the Kingdom. This includes ruins, stables, and biomes. However, there has been a distinct lack of Sheikah Towers, which may be replaced with the glowing green spots mentioned above. We also see Hyrule Castle, though its fate seems to have taken a dark turn.
