Moris are the kill animations that Killers can perform on a Survivor after specific requirements are met. Every killer has one, but some never get old.
There are three kinds of Mori offerings a Killer can execute, each with unique requirements. A Cypress Mori lets the Killer murder the last Survivor when downed. After a Survivor is on their last hook—either being hooked twice or being hooked once and then depleting their bar to below 50 percent—the ability to Mori is unlocked for Killers using the Ivory or Ebony Memento Moris. Ivory Moris allow a single kill during the match whereas an Ebony Mori can be used over and over again. So who has the best kill animations when they use this deadly offering?
Trickster
The Trickster's Mori shows Ji-Woon Hak at his most sassy and flashy. The autographed photo at the end is a cherry on top after his flourish. Both he and Nemesis were the first Killers to speak during their Moris as well, and they have unique dialogue during the kill.
Deathslinger
Simple yet effective is the best way to describe Deathslinger's Mori. It's one of the most brutal Moris, and the camera angles hide the character models perfectly to show that there's no actual mutilation. The blood dripping from the mouth and the harpoon sticking out makes the whole sequence especially grotesque.
Demogorgon
The little details in the Demogorgon's Mori are what make it stand out. The muffled Survivor screaming makes the entire sequence feel all the more dreadful. The beast-like movements as it nearly eats the Survivor leave a cold and chilling feeling after it moves onto its next victim.

Ghost Face
The cheekiness of this Killer is present within their playstyle and abilities, but it shines through most during their Mori. Ghost Face's Mori shows them stab feverishly stab the Survivor before taking a picture of them together at the end. They must have a lovely collection of selfies with their victims at this point.
The Spirit
While some Moris have little animation or creativity, The Spirit's Mori is simple while being true to her character. The sneaky stab followed by angry slashes just makes sense for her who she is. When she sneaks up for the initial stab, it's as though she came out of her Phase Walk to put the Survivor out of their misery.
Freddy Kreuger
The camera work for this Mori is what makes it so good. With no change to the character models, Moris like Freddy's make excellent use of the angles to show a gruesome kill. He rips through the Survivor's chest and takes them out of their nightmare.
Leather Face
Bubba has one of the most gruesome Moris but is held back due to the limitations of the character models. There aren't many visual changes when handling a Survivor's appearance during a Mori. Even with that, using a chainsaw through someone's body to cleave through to their face is one of the more horrifying sequences from the game.
The Huntress
There's nothing quite like murder with casual humming, and The Huntress has a calm composure throughout the animation. Each blow feels aggressive, but the hum continues as she seamlessly transitions back to hunt for more Survivors. It's as though she was sick of throwing her hatchets from a distance and is enamoured with finally sinking her axe in for the kill.
Pinhead
The Cenobite's Mori is unique and features one of the best animations in the game. An entire portal that had no previous assets sucks up the Survivor and cuts off the screams at the perfect moment going into the void. The chains from offscreen also add to the aesthetic that Hellraiser films are known for.
Nemesis
Nemesis is ruthless in the Resident Evil series, and his Mori shows that his sheer strength is enough to be scared of. The camera work is excellent in leaving the state of the Survivor to the imagination as he delivers a powerful, squelching stomp. Hearing him scream "S.T.A.R.S." when killing Jill or Chris makes the nostalgia hit all the more hard.
