How to Unlock Second Insured Slot in DMZ

In Call of Duty DMZ, you can have three Insured Weapons to select from, but these Insured Slots need to be unlocked first; the primary Insured Slot is automatically unlocked, but you'll need to unlock the remaining two. Here's how to get the second Insured Slot in Call of Duty DMZ. 

How to Unlock the Second Insured Weapon Slot in DMZ

Insured Slots allow you to carry customized weapons in DMZ, and you can unlock the second and third Slot relatively early in the game. To do this, you'll need to focus on completing Black Mous factions missions, as you'll need to reach Reputation Level 4 with Black Mous. I recommend completing all the Tier 1 missions for Black Mous as they are quite easy. Once that's done, you can start with a few easy Tier 2 Black Mous missions like Team Player, Badge of Honor, Hostage Rescue, and Close Quarters.

When you reach Reputation Level 4 with Black Mous, the challenges to unlock the second and third Insured Slot will be available. Here are the challenges you need to complete to unlock the second Insured Slot:

• Extract three IFAKs found at hospitals.
• Extract one AFAK or large medical bag.
• Extract one enemy operator’s weapon.

All Hospitals in Al Mazrah in DMZ

You can complete these challenges on any of the maps in the game, but I highly recommend going to Al Mazrah, as it has around six hospitals where you can find IFAKs and AFAKs in abundance. Additionally, Al Mazrah is a bigger map, so you can easily go around without being challenged by enemy operators. The hospitals in Al Mazrah are scattered across the map; it is best to visit the ones at Sa'id City, Sawah Village, and Al Mazrah City. Check the yellow pins on the map image above to see the exact location of all the hospitals at Al Mazrah.

You also need to exfil with an enemy operator's weapon. This can be done by gunning down opponents and stowing their weapons in your backpack, or by assimilating with opponents (i.e. joining their squad and asking them to drop a weapon you can pick up). Both methods will contribute towards completing the challenge to unlock the second Insured Slot.

Where to get IFAKs in DMZ

IFAKs are easier to find than AFAKs. You will come across this item most often inside a hospital— stocked on racks, tables, metal cabinets, first aid kits, large boxes, beds, and so on.

Where to get AFAK in DMZ

AFAK is another essential item you'll need to unlock the second Insured Slot in DMZ, and it can be found inside hospitals and other medical camps. However, it is exceptionally rare so you'll need to look around for a while to get this item.
