How to unlock The Voidcast Dias (Extreme) & All rewards in FFXIV Patch 6.4

With the release of Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4, the new Extreme trial has been released. Titled "The Voidcast Dias (Extreme)," this is a hardcore re-imagining of the climactic battle with Golbez that is the centerpiece of FFXIV Patch 6.4. Here’s how to unlock it and every reward from this extreme variant of the trial!

How to unlock The Voidcast Dias in Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.4

The initial Voidcast Dias trial is unlocked in the ninth quest of the 6.4 MSQ, called Abyssal Dark. At the climax of this quest, you’ll unlock The Voidcast Dias, which sees you face off against Golbez at his lair on the moon of the Void. There are no rewards for this trial, apart from 4063 gil and your choice of Heavens' Eye Materia IX, Savage Aim Materia IX, or Savage Might Materia IX for completing the quest. 

However, once you’ve completed this and the following quest, The Dark Throne, you can unlock The Voidcast Dias (Extreme).

Unlocking The Voidcast Dias (Extreme) in Final Fantasy XIV

To unlock The Voidcast Dias (Extreme), head to Old Sharlayan and find the Wandering Minstrel (X: 12, Y 14) on the docks. Talk to the NPC, and select the Talk about Golbez option. After a brief cutscene, The Voidcast Dias (Extreme) will be unlocked.
