Fortnite Halloween Skins (2026) – All Years & Full List!

Fortnite fans who collect cosmetics mark Halloween on the calendar every year, because the Fortnitemares event has always been one of the best times to grab the game's most creative and exclusive skins. Here's every Fortnite Halloween skin released so far, from the Fortnitemares 2026 skins and horror collabs back to the original Skull Trooper and Ghoul Trooper from 2017.

All Fortnite Fortnitemares Skins List

Year after year, the spooky season pushes Epic to design some of its most imaginative and varied outfits for the Item Shop. Older Halloween skins usually rotate back in during Fortnitemares, so if you missed any of the scary skins below, keep an eye on the shop during the next Halloween event!

Fortnitemares Halloween Skins 2026

Fortnitemares 2026 went live on October 1 during Chapter 7 Season 4 and runs until November 1, 2026. The first wave of Halloween outfits comes from the Five Nights at Freddy's collab, with Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy all arriving with damaged animatronic styles. Freddy Krueger from A Nightmare on Elm Street is also on the island as a boss in the new Nightmare Neighborhood POI. My favorite skin so far is Freddy Fazbear, as it's so iconic and funny to look at on the battlefield. Epic is rolling out the rest of the collab outfits throughout October, so we'll add more Fortnitemares 2026 outfits as they hit the Item Shop. Bookmark this page to never miss those scary skins!

Here's what the Five Nights at Freddy's skins cost in V-Bucks at launch. The full bundle also adds themed back blings, pickaxes, emotes, and a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza wrap.

FNAF Outfit	Price
Freddy Fazbear	1,500 V-Bucks
Bonnie the Rabbit	1,500 V-Bucks
Chica the Chicken	1,500 V-Bucks
Foxy the Pirate	1,600 V-Bucks
Five Nights at Freddy's Bundle	4,500 V-Bucks

All Confirmed Fortnitemares 2026 Collabs

This is one of the biggest Halloween crossover lineups Fortnite has ever had. Epic has confirmed outfits or accessories from the following franchises for October 2026:

• Five Nights at Freddy's: Freddy Fazbear, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy (available since October 1)
• A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy Krueger
• Beetlejuice
• Slender Man
• The Purge: Lady Liberty
• Black Clover: Asta
• Obsession: One Wish Willow
• 99 Nights in the Forest: The Deer
• Hollow Knight
• Hazbin Hotel
• Predator: Badlands
• Universal Studios' Halloween Horror Nights

Epic hasn't shared exact Item Shop dates for most of these collabs, and some of them may only bring accessories instead of full outfits. We'll update this list as each one goes live.

How to Get the Free Jack-A-Nape Skin

Not every Fortnitemares 2026 skin costs V-Bucks. Jack-A-Nape, an original creepy monkey outfit from Epic, is the free Halloween skin of the year. To unlock it, complete 26 Fortnitemares quests from the event tab before the event ends on November 1. New quests keep unlocking throughout October, so check back regularly if you can't finish them all right away.

Fortnite Halloween 2025 Skins

Fortnitemares 2025 ran from October 9 to November 1, 2025, and it was stacked with horror icons. Slasher fans finally got Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th and Ghostface from Scream, while Wednesday Addams arrived in her look from the Netflix series. The entire Mystery Inc. gang showed up too, led by Scooby-Doo and Shaggy, and Doja Cat got her own outfit along with a boss role on the island. Huggy Wuggy from Poppy Playtime and characters from the indie hit R.E.P.O. rounded out a packed lineup.

Fortnite Halloween 2024 Skins

Fortnitemares 2024 started on October 12, 2024, and leaned hard into villains. Leatherface from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Billy the Puppet from Saw covered classic horror, while Disney brought Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, and Maleficent to the island. Marvel added Mephisto, She-Venom, and Agony, Edward Scissorhands made his Fortnite debut, and Marshmello got a Halloween-themed Ravemello look.

Fortnite Halloween 2023 Skins

Fortnite Halloween 2023 skins combine crossovers with original scary outfits. As an Alan Wake fan, I was happy when Epic announced the Waking Nightmare set. But even Alan is no match for Halloween icons Michael "The Shape" Myers and Jack Skellington! If you are looking for original Fortnite skins, your best choices are Seth, Bogstick, Phantom Meowscles, and Festival Phaedra. Take a look at Fortnite Halloween skins for 2023:

Fortnite Halloween 2022 Skins

The best Halloween skins in Fortnite for 2022 were Victoria Saint and Party Trooper. Victoria Saint, a vampire hunter with a striking black and gold ensemble, gained immense popularity among players due to its exceptional design and attention to detail. Party Trooper, on the other hand, took the original trooper skin and covered it in vibrant neon lights, making it a flashy and highly sought-after addition to any Halloween collection.

Fortnite Halloween 2019 Skins

In 2019, it was also a big year with many Halloween skins. The outfits were teased heavily before release. Posters of them could be found in the game. These weren't outright said to be skins, but it seemed pretty apparent that they would end up in the shop. Chaos Agent might be the most famous because he's played heavily into some of the story-lore of the seasons. There are quite a few unique characters in this bunch, with things like Big Mouth and Teef being particularly unique. Hemlock, in particular, was a pretty great skin, with the built-in emote that will change the skin style in-game!

This is also the year that brought us the zombified Soccer skins. Based on the ratings, these didn't go over well, but they were an exciting addition to the game. We also got a pretty awesome skins pack with The Final Reckoning bundle.

Fortnite Halloween 2018 Skins

2018's Halloween occurred when Fortnite was popular, so it got many more skins this year. Deadfire was one of the earliest skins to have a reactive skin, transforming the outfit into a more zombified version. This is also the year that brought the Skull Ranger to the game, which is the female counterpart of the Skull Trooper. We also got Brainiac, which is Ghoul Trooper's male counterpart. There were also a couple of pumpkin head-themed skins that were released. Hollowhead is a play on the headless horseman, and Jack Gourdon was in celebration of David S. Pumpkins from Saturday Night Live!

Fortnite Halloween 2017 Skins

Well, Epic came out of the gate with some great first skins. These would be infamous for a while and were a couple of the hardest-to-find outfits in the game. They were immensely popular and even caused some controversy when they returned. Epic tried to soften the outrage by adding "OG" versions. Skull Trooper got a purple-style version only obtained by players who had previously owned it. Ghoul Trooper also received an OG pink style with the same requirement.

Once the re-release happened for each skin, they got a Back Bling added to them. Skull Trooper got the Ghost Portal, which could be obtained by completing challenges. Ghoul Trooper was given the Bear Brained Back Bling that was just given to the owners of the outfit!
