Eye of Perception – How to get, Ascension, stats, and who can use it in Genshin Impact

Give it to your DPS catalyst.

The Eye of Perception is a Genshin Impact four-star catalyst that supports characters that rely on Normal and Charged Attacks. While it boosts Attack instead of Crit and has an unimpressive passive, it's still a great DPS weapon that can carry new players to the mid-game. I managed to get by using this weapon on Ningguang for a whole year before switching to a five-star catalyst, so it's definitely a good low-budget option for free-to-players.

How to get Eye of Perception in Genshin Impact

Eye of Perception is a standard banner weapon, which means that you can pull for it on the Wanderlust Invocation, as well as all limited character and weapon banners. However, it's sometimes on rate-up in the Epitome Invocation banner, which you can pull on using Primogems or Intertwined Fates. Being a four-star weapon, you can't chart an Epitomized Path for Eye of Perception. Obtaining it comes down to luck.

Genshin Impact Eye of Perception stats

  • Base Attack: 41 to 454
  • Substat: Attack (12 to 55.1 percent)
  • Passive: Echo
    • Normal and Charged Attacks have a 50 percent chance to fire a Bolt of Perception, dealing 240/270/300/330/360 percent Attack as Damage. This bolt can bounce between opponents a maximum of four times. This effect can occur once every 12/11/10/9/8 seconds.

Who can use Eye of Perception in Genshin Impact

The Eye of Perception is a straightforward catalyst best used by DPS units that rely on Normal and Charged Attacks. It's a fairly decent weapon for new players but is overshadowed by many other catalysts (such as the similar Dodoco Tales), especially as this weapon type is saturated with amazing options.

However, if you don't have other DPS catalysts in your roster, give the Eye of Perception a try—you might enjoy it! Bear in mind that this catalyst has an Attack substat, so you need to build Crit through Artifacts. Characters who can use the Eye of Perception include:
