Sumeru is one of Teyvat's seven nations, which exists under the rule of the Dendro Archon, Lesser Lord Kusanali. It's a nation rich with natural resources, featuring topography that blends dense rainforests and desert land. At the core of Sumeru is the Akademiya, the most prestigious educational institute in Teyvat that specializes in ancient research, producing some of the world's greatest minds—from Lisa to Rosalyne-Kruzchka Lohefalter, Pursina, and more.
With Sumeru's release in Version 3.0, HoYovese has been releasing bits of information about the characters who the Traveler and Paimon may meet along their travels in the nation of wisdom. While many characters have been leaked to come, here's a list of all the confirmed playable characters that you can start saving Primogems and resources for!
All officially announced Sumeru characters in Genshin Impact
Collei
Collei is one of Sumeru's most familiar names and faces due to her significance in the Genshin Impact manga, which detailed the events of the Ludi Harpastum around five years prior to the current game's events. She is a victim of the Archon Residue Experiments conducted by Barnabas—with heavy involvement from the Fatui Harbinger, Il Dottore.
Collei and Dottore's connection could have major story significance in Sumeru, as she briefly appeared in the Teyvat Chapter Interlude Teaser: A Winter Night's Lazzo upon mention of one of Dottore's segments committing blasphemy. Collei has officially been announced by Genshin Impact as a four-star Dendro bow user, and she'll most likely be pullable in-game on Version 3.0.

Tighnari
Tighnari is a Forest Watcher in charge of the Avidya Forest, one of many rainforests that can be found scattered around Sumeru's massive expanse of land. He's a professional in the field and knows the forest like the back of his hand, and is in charge of educating Trainee Rangers like Collei in practical forest-watching. Tighnari is a five-star Dendro bow user who will likely be pullable on Version 3.0.
His personality has been described as similar to Albedo, in that he's extremely knowledgeable about plants and can take them a little too seriously—thanks to his degree in Botany. Being a Forest Ranger who also delves into research, he's a well-connected individual who deals with all sorts of people daily, from lost locals to Mora-obsessed scammers and a Traveler from another land.
Dori
Dori (rumored to be Dori Sangemah Bay) is a Mora-loving merchant who's the Akademiya students' beacon of hope on some days and their worst enemy on others. Her ability to procure the rarest experimental materials is second to none, but the high price tags can be a little too heavy for most pockets. She operates from the comfort of the Palace of Alcazarzaray but provides After-Sales Services to esteemed clients for the right price. Dori is a four-star Electro claymore user who summons a Lamp Spirit to help her in battle. She will likely be pullable alongside Collei and Tighnari in Version 3.0.
