Genshin Impact As the Khvarena’s Light Shows Nirodha World Quest guide

As the Khvarena's Light Shows is the fourth quest in the Khvarena of Good and Evil quest chain. It's automatically unlocked after completing the following prerequisites:

• The Splendorous Sky That Day
• Asipattravana Itihasa
• Awakening’s Real Sound

During the quest, Sorush will obtain the Twin-Horned Chaplet, allowing her to collect the Great Songs of Khvarena. The quest will then split into three subquests, one being As the Khvarena's Light Shows: Nirodha.

All puzzle solutions in As the Khvarena's Light Shows: Nirodha World Quest – Genshin Impact

Start by heading to the quest location west of the Asipattravana Swamp. When you get there, a cutscene and dialogue will immediately play, and the path will open up, allowing you to enter the cave. Once inside, keep following the path forward (turn on the quest navigator if you get lost) until you reach the front of a locked gate.

You need to interact with the mechanism in front of the gate so that the symbols follow the correct order. Reference the image above for the correct symbol order, or do the following:

1. Rotate Upper Level once.
2. Rotate Middle Level twice.

Once the symbols are correct, enter the gate to trigger a small cutscene and dialogue with Nasejuna.

Find Energy Block

Go up the stairs Nasejuna is facing, then go through the gate (the same one you entered from). Once you go through, it will close from behind. Keep going forward on the swampy path until you see the crystallized Rifthounds.

Enter the cave behind the crystallized Rifthounds and follow the path forward to find the Power of Khvarena (floating green orb). Approach it and follow it like a Seelie. It's going to free the Rifthounds, which you can defeat for an optional Chest. Keep following the Power of Khvarena until it stops in front of the large gate.

Interact with the mechanism to open the gate and follow the Power of Khvarena inside. You'll immediately find a glowing spot, which you need to interact with to obtain the Mysterious Energy Block.

Return to the control center

Continue following the Power of Khvarena through the tunnel. It will stop in front of another locked gate. Like before, you need to interact with the mechanism in front of the gate so that the symbols follow the correct order. Reference the image above for the correct symbol order, or do the following:

1. Rotate Upper Level twice.
2. Rotate Middle Level once.
3. Rotate Lower Level twice.

Once the symbols are set correctly, the gate will open.

Keep following the Power of Khvarena until it stops in front of a large gate. Interact with the mechanism to open it, then enter and approach Nasejuna to trigger dialogue.

Go to the control center where the relays may be found

From the control center, face west (reference the mini-map above) and exit the area from the large gate. Once you're out, go down the stairs to find a glowing spot. Approach it to trigger dialogue with Nasejuna.

Once that's done, interact with the nearby mechanism, which is called a Mixer. Rotate the Mixer once so that the arrow is facing the stairs going down. This will open a nearby gate.

Then, go down the stairs and pay attention to the left side of the area. You'll find an open gate, which you must enter to find a room full of Mixers.

Connect the circuit

First, you need to remove the Gray Crystals covering the Mixers. Go up the ladder the arrow is pointing to above until you reach the very top.

You'll spot a Power of Khvarena. Interact with it to pick it up, then go back down the ladder. The Power of Khvarena will get rid of the Gray Crystals, but only temporarily. To make the removal permanent, you need to place it between two crystallized Mixers.

Stand between two previously crystallized Mixers and use the place button (T for PC) to place the Power of Khvarena on the ground. The controls differ per device, but you can find the exact button on the bottom right of the screen.

Next, go through the tunnel to the left of the entrance, where the arrow is pointing above. Follow the path forward until you reach a swampy area. Interact with the second Power of Khvarena to pick it up, then place it between the last two crystallized Mixers.

If you followed the instructions, your room should look like the above. A Power of Khvarena between the two Mixers on the left and another between the two on the right. There should be no Gray Crystals blocking the Mixers anymore.

Next, you need to rotate the Mixers so that all the circuits are properly connected. Simply interact with the Mixers until they're facing the correct direction.

Assuming that the gate is in front of you, rotate all the Mixers so that they're facing the directions specified in the image above, except for the leftmost Mixer (circled above).

The leftmost Mixer needs to be moved twice to solve this puzzle. First, rotate it so that it's facing forward. This will open the gate beside it, revealing another Mixer inside the small room.

Rotate the Mixer inside the room so that it's facing outward, and the Mixer outside the room so that it's facing inward. Following these rotations, as well as the rest of the ones shown above, will complete the puzzle.

Go investigate the proving ground

Exit the room via the large gate, then keep following the path forward until you exit the long tunnel. Once you're out, glide down and go down the stairs to find a glowing spot. Approach it to trigger dialogue with Nasejuna. Once that's done, enter the massive clearing up ahead.

Interact with the device in the clearing to trigger a cutscene. A mechanism will appear at the center of the room. Investigate it to begin the battle sequence.

Defeat all opponents

Waves of Ruin opponents will spawn. Your goal is to defeat them all. Keep in mind that there's a long pause between the opponents spawning, so you can hide behind the device to avoid getting hit by the laser from far away.

Whenever Sorush creates a barrier, step into the middle (stand under Sorush) to avoid getting hit by the barrage of lasers. Follow the same pattern until all enemies (the last being a Ruin Drake) are defeated.

Use the Ruin Cannon to destroy the Golem's core

Interact with the mechanism at the center of the room to activate it. Your goal is to aim and hit the golden core circled above. It will move around from time to time, so aim carefully!

The core will occasionally create a triangular shield. When this happens, aim and hit the three cores at each point in the triangle to destroy them. When all three shield cores have been destroyed, you can aim and attack the main core again. Follow the same pattern until the golden core is fully destroyed. You'll get the Wonders of the World Achievement called Behold My Righteous Strike!

Examine the opened device

Use the Four-Leaf Sigils to help propel you toward the Golem's core, where you'll find a mechanism. Interact with it to open the gate. Enter the gate and follow the path forward. Don't forget to pick up the Luxurious Chest along the path.

Obtain the Great Song of Khvarena

To obtain the Great Song of Khvarena, you must equip Sorush from the Gadget inventory. Sorush can be activated using the Gadget button (Z for PC), and her controls can be seen on the bottom right of the screen (differs per device). The PC controls are below, but check your screen for your controls:

• Right mouse button - fly faster
• Space - fly higher
• Left CTRL - fly lower
• E - use Sorush's power
• Hold E - activate Sorush's Twin-Horned Chaplet power

Using Sorush, fly toward the Great Song of Khvarena (pictured above) and use her Elemental Skill to obtain it, completing this segment of the World Quest.
