Genshin Impact Yanfei farming guide

Yanfei is a five-star Pyro catalyst user, a half-Adeptus, and one of Liyue's most prominent legal advisors. She has a close relationship with Madame Ping and works for the likes of the Tianquan due to her impeccable knowledge of the law and forward-thinking approach to her judgments. Here's everything you need to prepare if you're interested in building Yanfei, whether as a DPS or even with an experimental shield build.

Level-up cost

You need to prepare the following to level up Yanfei to either 80 or 90. This doesn't include Ascension and Talent costs.

Ascension materials & cost

You need to prepare 420,000 Mora and the following materials to fully Ascend Yanfei. The Mora value doesn't include level-up and Talent costs.

Noctilucous Jade can be found in mining spots across Liyue and The Chasm. Meanwhile, Juvenile Jade can be farmed from the Primo Geovishap in Tianqiu Valley.

These are dropped by all Pyro Normal and World Bosses, such as the Pyro Regisvine, Pyro Hypostasis, and Aeonblight Drake. Additionally, you can convert materials using the Crafting Table to turn your existing Gemstones into Pyro ones.

Talent level-up materials & cost

You must prepare 1,652,500 Mora and the following materials to level up all three of Yanfei's Talents to level 10. The Mora value doesn't include character level-up and Ascension costs.

Crowns of Insight are limited rewards that can be obtained from big events. Yanfei's World Boss material is called the Bloodjade Branch, which can be obtained by defeating Azhdaha from the Beneath the Dragon-Queller Trounce Domain in Nantianmen.
