The Alley Flash – How to get, Ascension, stats, and who can use it in Genshin Impact

Another amazing four-star pick for sub-DPS units.

The Alley Flash is a Genshin Impact four-star sword with an interesting value proposition. It boosts the wielder's damage by a decent percentage—but only if they don't take any damage from enemies. As a result, the only way to realistically maximize this weapon is to have a consistent shielder on your team. I find it extremely useful to give to Elemental Reaction-based characters as I always bring a shielder around, so I recommend giving this weapon a try if you happened to pull for it.

How to get The Alley Flash in Genshin Impact

The Alley Flash is a limited banner weapon, so you can only pull it whenever it's featured on the current Epitome Invocation banner. Whenever this sword is on rotation, you can pull it on rate-up using Primogems or Intertwined Fates. However, being a four-star weapon, you can't chart an Epitomized Path for The Alley Flash. Obtaining it will depend on your luck.

Genshin Impact The Alley Flash stats

  • Base Attack: 45 to 620
  • Substat: Elemental Mastery (12 to 55 percent)
  • Passive: Itinerant Hero
    • Increases damage dealt by the character equipping this weapon by 12/15/18/21/24 percent. Taking damage disables this effect for five seconds.

Who can use The Alley Flash in Genshin Impact

The Alley Flash is a weapon suitable for characters within a specific niche—specifically those with damage-dealing potential (high Attack and damage buff passive) that also trigger Reactions (EM substat). It's an option for most sub-DPS sword users and is also a great fit for characters that scale off Base Attack, such as Bennett. However, because there are so many amazing sword options in the game, this weapon may not necessarily be the best-in-slot for anyone, but it offers decent value nonetheless.

Do keep in mind that if you equip The Alley Flash, your team must have a dedicated shielder, such as Zhongli or Diona, to maximize its benefits. An outlier would be Layla, as she can produce her own shield. With that said, here are characters who can use this weapon:
