How to play Phasmophobia on Oculus Quest 2

It's easy to set up!

If you are wondering if you can play Phasmophobia on an Oculus Quest 2, the answer is yes. But if you were wondering if Phasmophobia is available on the Quest 2 store, the answer is no. Instead, you will need to use either Air Link or an Oculus Link wire (or a suitable third-party USB C cable) to play Phasmophobia through the Quest 2 Link feature.

How you can play Phasmophobia on Oculus Quest 2

To play Phasmophobia on Oculus Quest 2, you have two options: a Link cable or Air Link. The first method requires you to plug a Link cable or a USB C cable into your headset and PC. Once all wires are connected, you will need to put your headset on and click the Oculus link option in the main menu. After this, your headset will enter an Oculus Rift mode where you can access PC content.

While in this Oculus Rift mode, you can launch Phasmophobia either via the desktop option inside your headset or manually. In both cases, Phasmophobia will launch, and you will be able to play it on an Oculus Quest 2 headset.

If you don't have a Link cable or a suitable USB C cable, you need to use the Air Link option. Using Air Link has its drawbacks, as it uses wifi to stream the game to your headset. Because of this, using Air Link will sometimes cause the game to have worse graphics and be laggy. Regardless, you can still use it to play Phasmophobia on your Oculus Quest 2, which is better than nothing.

To use Air Link, you must first download the Oculus desktop program. Once the program finishes downloading, log in with your Facebook or Oculus website info. After logging into the app, locate the Beta tab and check the Air Link option below.

Next, place your Quest 2 on your head and locate the Settings tab. Under Settings, there will be an option called Experimental Features. Click this and find Air Link under it, then enable it similarly to how you did it on PC.

Afterward, you will be able to access the Oculus Rift mode and play Phasmophobia on your Oculus Quest 2.
