How to destroy rock walls in Wild Hearts

We're here to make a new door.

Wild Hearts is a game that is all about freedom and overcoming challenges. However, some challenges come in the form of a large wall of rocks. Obstacles like this are mysterious and inviting, prompting you to find a way to break them down. Mere weapons cannot dent this wall, perhaps making it stronger than any giant kemono. There is only one method that can successfully tear down rock walls, and it can only be unlocked after defeating a specific kemono. Come join us as we explain how to destroy rock walls in Wild Hearts.

To break rock walls, you must construct a Pounder karakuri next to the wall. To build this fusion karakuri, you must stack three Spring karakuri on top of one another. To ensure that the Pounder will hit its mark, build it while directly facing the wall. If you mistakenly orient the Pounder, its attack may completely miss the rock wall, forcing you to spend six Thread and build another.

This fusion karakuri can only be unlocked during the Spineglider battle, in response to the giant kemono's rush attack. When the Spineglider climbs up on a rock and prepares to jump toward you, a quick time event will occur, prompting you to stack three Spring karakuri. If you do this successfully, the Spineglider will leap at you and meet the Pounder's attack head-on. The Pounder karakuri is especially effective during this fight and is one of the primary strategies to bring the Spineglider down.
