After this, a build menu will soon appear and in this build menu, you will need to locate the crafting tab. Under the crafting tab, find the iron cooking station and place it over a hearth.
You can make a hearth with stone rocks you get from mining large rocks in the game. Once both are placed, throw some wood in and you will be able to cook lox meat. As a side note, you can get lox meat from killing loxs over in the Plains biome. To get the most lox meat, we recommend making the butcher's knife and taming and breeding a few loxs.
