20 Best 1.20.1 Seeds for Minecraft

Random spawn generations in Minecraft can waste your time just as much as they can be rewarding. Since I never know which biome I will be spawning in, I'm gambling with my time when I select a random spawn. You can avoid wasting your time by reading the list of best seeds I've compiled below.

20 - Swamp Cave Village

Seed: 8650619647941529141

This seed has everything Java players need to survive right from the start. The seed's Plains Village stands above a cave with a tall Witch Hut built into the side of the nearby Windswept biome. Use the Village as a safe place to rest, the cave to gather all the needed ores, and the Witch Hut for some free experience and a black cat. Bedrock players will have a second Witch Hut instead of the Plains Village.

19 - Small Ocean Island

Seed: 8264962359029769547

A Plains Village makes up its own island in the Bedrock version of this world. A shipwreck and a few pieces of buried treasure are scattered through the ocean around it, giving players more opportunities for exploration. Java players will have better luck exploring the ocean next to Spawn. There, they'll come across plenty of Cold Ocean Ruins, shipwrecks, and even an Ocean Monument.

Seed: 6956452889763165439

The large mountain range in this seed is home to multiple Ancient Cities for both Java and Bedrock players. While exploring the mountains for these cities, you'll have access to both Dripstone and Lush Cave biomes. Java players have the added bonus of a Pillager Outpost and a Woodland Mansion in the area. Instead of these, Bedrock players will be gifted with an extra Ancient City and a set of Trail Ruins.

17 - Mooshroom Crescent

Seed: -1971577037649886485

Mushroom Islands are the safest place for players to live in Minecraft. The Mycelium that covers them prevents monsters from Spawning, meaning your only enemies will be the Phantoms and undersea mobs like the Drowned. Use this island as your refuge while exploring the surrounding Ocean Monuments, ruins, and shipwrecks.

16 - Mansion in the Clouds

Seed: 6431144091365954867

This Woodland Mansion is one of the most dramatic Overworld structures I've ever seen. Because it is partially against a hill on one side, the rest of the Mansion towers over the biomes against its other three walls. Exploring around the base of the Mansion will lead you to a set of Trail Ruins in the Birch Forest below. Bedrock players will have to travel further in the map to find a Pillager Outpost and a Plains Village instead of having the Mansion.

A Lush Cave is the first thing you'll come across in this world. When Bedrock players enter it, they'll have immediate access to a Zombie Spawner! Use it to build an easy experience farm to enchant your tools while mining throughout the mountains. The Lush Cave's glow berries will be an easy source of food and light while you gather coal and seeds to make a wheat farm and some torches.

One of the highlights of modern Minecraft is its many biomes, ranging from lush fields of flowers to spiraling Savanna hills and vibrant Cherry Groves. You'll naturally find the best of these biomes in this seed. The world begins in a Flower Forest with sandy beaches, Sunflower Plains, and floating savanna islands in front of you. Turning to face the other direction puts a snowy mountain and two Cherry Grove biomes in your sight. Together, these biomes provide both a lovely view and an endless array of exploration and building possibilities.

13 - Neighboring Forest Mansions

Seed: -8391253967841531515

Woodland Mansions are difficult to explore in typical survival Minecraft solely because they are hard to find. Oftentimes, they will be located 10,000 to 20,000 blocks away from Spawn. While you can use Woodland Explorer Maps to find them, this seed makes the process easy for Bedrock players by giving them not one, but two mansions near Spawn. The first mansion is in the Roofed Forest southwest of Spawn while the second can be found by walking northwest.

Seed: 6836943742437227369

If you're feeling lost and unmotivated in Minecraft, an island getaway could be just the thing you need. This island contains a Forest biome, so you won't have to worry about scavenging the waters for leftover shipwreck wood. It's also not far from a large continent. Once you feel rejuvenated and back in the groove, you can visit the larger land for more resources and exploration opportunities.

Seed: 2874423196090913527

This Jungle Temple has somehow made its way into the center of the ocean! It floats by idly as if it weren't out of place at all. While Java players won't have this enjoyably lost temple, they'll have a Jungle Temple of their own and some buried treasure to unearth.

Windswept Savannas are beautiful biomes that serve as potential homes for llamas. This one is particularly gorgeous because it is tall, towering, and home to several llama herds. All players will spawn directly on top of it, easily able to make their way down by jumping into the waters below. If the Savanna isn't colorful enough for you, the nearby Desert and Coral Reef biomes will be.

This seed combines the best of Minecraft villages, Pillager Outposts, and Meadow Mountains to create a truly spectacular world. The Plains Village takes up the left half of this Meadow Mountain while the Pillager Outpost is built up the right side. Players will also find a lake and 1.20's stunning Cherry Grove biome in the meadow's vicinity. While Java players will not have the same village and outpost, they will spawn next to a Plains Village of their own.

These neighboring Plains Villages each have their own Blacksmith to boast of. In the Blacksmiths' forges, you'll have the opportunity to gather iron armor, tools, and even obsidian at no cost to you. The second Blacksmith's chest will contain a saddle, allowing you to tame and ride any of the horses in the vicinity. While Bedrock players may not have these Blacksmiths, they will have two villages of their own to explore.

Desert Temples and Villages are the key structures found in Minecraft Deserts. In this Village, they come together to produce an amazing Desert Tower Temple! The left side of the Desert Temple has merged with the watchtower in a Desert Village, creating an entirely new structure. If you look carefully through the top window of the tower, you'll be able to see a chest filled with goodies. Loot that one and the four hidden ones in the temple to start your game off rich.

6 - Ocean in the Mountains

Seed: 1982423014975111366

Despite all odds, this Ocean biome has cut through a Stony Mountain to keep its place in this world. The mountain's walls have been eroded by the ocean's waves, creating steep cliffs that are hard to climb. Players start on the left side of this mountain. This position allows them to easily climb to the top or move down to set up next to the ocean. The area has Birch Forest, Dark Forest, and Jungle biomes to use for resources.
