How to change your Legend mid-game in Control Apex Legends

Choosing your Legend in Apex Legends is a big commitment in Battle Royale, and Arenas, as whoever you pick (or get at random by mistake) is who you are stuck with for the full game. That said, Control is switching things up in that regard. Instead of being tied to a Legend for an entire game, you are only tied to a Legend for a single life, which in Control, you have infinite of. Let’s take a look at how swapping Legends mid-game works in Control.

Changing Your Legend

Any time you die, you have the option to make three different selections: Spawn Location, Loadout Selection, and Legend Selection. Changing your Legend is done by an option in the bottom left corner of the screen, where it will display your username and your current Legend.

Going to the Change Legend option will allow you to switch your current Legend to another. That said, keep in mind you will have to keep the Legend you chose until you die, so if you get high in the ratings/weapon tiers, you may be on that Legend for a good while.
