All outpost upgrades in Expeditions: Rome

Upgrade your camp.

To progress in Expeditions: Rome, Outpost Management upgrades are essential. This behind-the-scenes work makes each battle much simpler. Upgrades result in new assignments and buffs for the players, legion, and Praetorian guard.

To access Upgrades, go into Outpost Management and go to the Upgrades tab. Below is a list of all the upgrades.

Level 1 Upgrades

DispensaryLeave injured Praetorians here to treat them for free. Critical injuries can only be treated in the dispensary.Available by default

Specular TentUpgrades player's tent. Leave a Praetorian here to replenish your tactical items.1 Tannery and 1 Lumber Mill
ArmouryLeave a Praetorian here to craft Praetorian items of tier 1.1 Tannery and 1 Iron Mine
BathLeave a Praetorian here to boost their Approval up to appalled if it has dropped below that level.1 Farm
PalisadesIncrease the Legion's strength by 5% when the outpost is attacked.1 Lumber Mill
WorkshopLeave a Praetorian here to unlock a new level 1 battle strategem or craft one-use strategem.1 Iron Mine and 1 Lumber Mill
StockpileIncreases the legion's strength by 5% when conquering new regions.1 Farm

Level 2 Upgrades

InfirmaryUpgrades Dispensary to Infirmary. Decreases treatment time of injured Praetorians.1 Farm and 2 Tanneries
GarrisonUpgrades Barracks to Garrison. Available recruits will be between levels 7 and 12.1 Farm, 1 Iron Mine, and 1 Lumber Mill
EmporiumUpgrades Market to Emporium. Increases the variety of wares and gives better exchange rates.2 Farms and 1 Tannery
BatlneumUpgrades Bath to Batlneum. Approval can now be brought up to Disgruntled.1 Farm and 1 Iron Mine
Legatus TentUpgrades Specular Tent to Legatus Tent. Increases the number of tactical item refreshes per assignment.1 Tannery and 2 Lumber Mills
WallsUpgrades Palisades to Walls. Increases the legion's strength by 10% when the outpost is attacked.1 Iron Mine and 1 Lumber Mill
FactoryUpgrades Workshop to Factory. Unlocks Level 2 battle strategem upgrades.1 Iron mine, 1 Lumber mill, and 1 Tannery
ForgeUpgrades Armoury to Forge. Unlocks tier 2 items.1 Farm and 2 Iron Mines

ArsenalUpgrades Factory to Arsenal. Unlocks Level 3 battle strategem upgrades.1 Iron Mine, 1 Tannery, and 2 Lumber mills
StorehouseUpgrades Depot to Storehouse. Increases the legion's strength by 15% when conquering new regions.2 Farms and 1 Iron Mine
CommerciumUpgrades Emporium to Commercium. Increases the variety of wares and gives better exchange rates.2 Farms, 1 Iron Mine, and 1 Tannery
Praetorium Upgrades Garrison to Praetorium. Available recruits will be between levels 13 and 18.2 Farms, 1 Lumber Mill, and 1 Tannery
Lavacrum Upgrades Batlneum to Lavacrum. Approval can now be brought up to Hesitant1 Farm, 1 Tannery, and 1 Lumber Mill
Foundry Upgrades Forge to Foundry. Unlocks tier 3 items. 1 Farm, 2 Iron Mines, and 1 Lumber Mill
