The Final Chapter is the last quest in the Agnihotra Sutra World Questline, closing the story of the three Aranara on a journey to save the Mawtiyima Forest.

How to unlock The Final Chapter Sumeru World Quest in Genshin Impact

The Final Chapter can be unlocked after completing the first two parts of the Agnihotra Sutra World Questline in this exact order:

• Starry Night Chapter
• Risen Moon Chapter

Once both are done, you'll automatically unlock The Final Chapter World Quest.

How to complete The Final Chapter Sumeru World Quest in Genshin Impact

Go with Aranaga to look for the Yajna Grass

Follow the quest marker to the Mawtiyima Forest, where you'll meet an Aranara named Aranaga. He'll tell you about the Yajna Grass, the last magical plant you need to create the potion to save the forest. Follow the quest marker to the location of the Yajna Grass—you can easily glide there from the northwest Teleport Waypoint in Mawtiyima Forest.

Use the Kusava to break the seal on the Yajna Grass

Equip the "Kusava" Gadget once again. This time, you can use it to cause mushroom platforms to grow taller, allowing you to touch the seal hidden underwater. Remember that you must step on the mushroom platform before using the "Kusava" as it has a small target range. If you try aiming from further away, the seal will not surface. After surfacing the seal, don't forget to interact with it to count toward the quest. The quest marker will guide you to the locations of the three seals, so you can simply follow them.

The northeast seal is blocked by a barrier, which you can break by shooting at the projectiles using Dendrograna. Puzzles do not block the other two seals, so you can directly use the "Kusava" to complete this segment.

Go to Mawtimiya

The rest of the quest is fairly straightforward. You have to speak with the Aranara friends and interact with a few objects. The next important segment will happen after you offer the elixir to Jamikayomars. You must enter Mawtiyima and quell the Marana causing the Withering within.

Follow the quest marker toward Mawtiyima and jump down toward the underground entrance. You'll spot a Dendro Seelie up ahead. We highly recommend following this Seelie, as it will guide you throughout the quest.

Clean up the pollution caused by The Withering

First Pollution Zone

Follow the Seelie toward the first quest area (also visible in the mini-map in the image above) and aim the "Kusava" Gadget toward the seal, then click the Elemental Skill button until you see the yellow Aranara and click attack to activate. This will repair the seal—interact with it to complete the objective.

Next, use the "Kusava" Gadget on the rock with vines, then click the Elemental Skill button until you see the green Aranara and click attack to activate. This will break the rock and reveal a seal—interact with it to complete the objective.

The Auspicious Branch will now be filled with Dendrograna. Summon Dendrograna and shoot the Withering Branch to eliminate pollution in this area.

Second Pollution Zone

Follow the Seelie to the second quest area (also visible in the mini-map in the image above) and follow the arrow toward this underwater seal. Jump onto the mushroom and use the "Kusava" Gadget on the underwater seal, then click the Elemental Skill button until you see the orange Aranara and click attack to activate. This will prompt the mushroom platform to grow and reveal the seal. Interact with it to complete the objective.

The other arrow is pointing toward a broken seal. Aim the "Kusava" Gadget toward it, then click the Elemental Skill button until you see the yellow Aranara and click attack to activate. This will repair the seal. Interact with it to complete the objective.

Once that's done, the Auspicious Branch will be filled with Dendrograna. So summon Dendrograna and shoot the Withering Branch to complete this segment.

Challenge

This part is optional, but you can follow the Seelie toward a Time-Trial Challenge, where you need to defeat four fungi. Completing this will reward you with a Common Chest. Once that's done, it will guide you toward the last pollution zone.

Third Pollution Zone

Follow the Seelie toward the third quest area (also visible in the mini-map in the image above). Use the "Kusava" Gadget on the rock with vines, then click the Elemental Skill button until you see the green Aranara and click attack to activate. This will break the rock and reveal a seal—interact with it to complete the objective.

Follow the direction the other arrow is facing to find a small cave with water. Jump onto the mushroom and use the "Kusava" Gadget on the underwater seal, then click the Elemental Skill button until you see the orange Aranara and click attack to activate. This will prompt the mushroom platform to grow and reveal the seal. Interact with it to complete the objective.

Like the previous two times, the Auspicious Branch will now have Dendrograna. Summon Dendrograna and shoot at the Withering Branch to get rid of pollution in this area.

Go and clear the last Withering Zone

Follow the Seelie toward the Seelie Court to get an Exquisite Chest reward. Then follow the quest marker and jump down to the clearing below to find the final Withering Zone. Defeat all the enemies, then interact with the Tumor of the Withering to complete the quest objective.

The Aranara friends will speak with you, completing the Agnihotra Sutra World Questline. You'll be rewarded with the Wonders of the World Achievement called The Jasmines Whisper, the Pomegranates Are Glad.
