With the release of the Into the Void update, players gained access to the Void Gauntlet. This weapon works with the added Void damage, but it also works well as a healing-focused weapon. Scaling into Intelligence and Focus, here are the best weapon combos and skills to invest in with the Void Gauntlet.

Void Gauntlet and Life Staff Build

For a darker aesthetic healer, combining the light life staff with the dark void gauntlet is one of the best options. Due to both of these weapons scaling with focus, they already work very well together. This build should primarily dump points into Focus, Intelligence, and Constitution.

Life Staff Skills

Healing Skill Tree

  • Sacred Ground - Three meter AOE that heals allies for 12 seconds for 16% weapon damage per second.
    • Holy Ground - Regen stamina and mana 50% faster while in the AOE.
    • Blessed - Allies in the AOE are healed for 50% more healing.

Passive Skills

  • Absolved - Life staff light and heavy attacks cost no mana.
  • Desperate Speed - When healing an ally below 50% health, life staff cooldowns are reduced by 10%.
  • Sacred Protection - While holding a lifestaff, players increase the healing to their friendlies by 50%.

Protector Skill Tree

  • Beacon - Light projectile dealing 146% weapon damage to enemies and heals nearby allies for 16% weapon damage for 10 seconds.
    • Radiance's Blessing - Beacon lasts five seconds longer.
  • Orb of Protection - A light projectile fortifying the player by 10% for 20 seconds and deals 146% weapon damage.
    • Protector's Blessing - If the orb hits an ally, they gain recovery for 10 seconds.
    • Shared Protection - When successfully healing an ally with the orb, the players also gains fortify and recovery.
    • Aegis - When successfully hitting an enemy, all allies within three meters are effected by it.

Void Gauntlet Skills

Decay Skill Tree

  • Baleful Tether - Projectile tethering an enemy to the player, weakening the target and empowering the player by 4% per second, up to a 20% maximum. (Up to 15 meters distance and 10 seconds of duration)
    • Tethered Refresh - Successful hits on a tethered target reduce the gauntlet's cooldowns by 5%.
    • Tethered Focus - 100% bonus mana regen during an active tether.
    • Soul Eater - Regain 80% of the weapon damage as health if the tethered enemy dies. Scales with focus exclusively.
  • Essence Rupture - A projectile inflicting Essence Rupture for 10 seconds, healing any one who hits the targeted enemy for 20% of the damage dealt. Scales exclusively with Focus.
    • Invigorating Rupture - Players also receive 15 points of stamina from hitting an affected target.
    • Overflowing Essence - Friendlies within four meters of the target are healed 80% of the player's weapon damage when the ability ends.
  • Orb of Decay - Unblockable orb that passes through enemies, dealing 100% weapon damage and inflicting Disintegrate, dealing 5% weapon damage per second and reducing damage absorption by 5% for eight seconds. At max range it becomes a healing orb, healing friendly players for 20% weapon damage for five seconds. The healing scales with Focus exclusively.
    • Draining Orb - Gains 5% mana per enemy hit by the orb.
    • Slowing Orb - Enemies affected by a debuff will be slowed if hit by the orb by 30% for three seconds.
    • Detonating Orb - Activate the ability a second time to detonate the orb, creating a four meter explosion. Depending on its phase, it will either deal 100% weapon damage to enemies and stack Disintegrate or heal friendlies for 70% weapon damage.

Passive Skills

  • Fervent Thirst - Gain 5% mana per successful light attack against targets debuffed by the Void Gauntlet.
  • Glimpse of the Void - Gain a stack of Void Essence per successful ability hit. With 0 or more levels of stacks, the player's next successful ranged heavy attack will reset the Void Gauntlet cooldowns.
  • Leeching Bolts - Healing from heavy ranged attacks is increased by 30% of the damage dealt if the target's health is below 50%.
  • Mending Evasion - Dodging with full mana heals the player for 80% of their weapon damage.
  • Radiant Efficiency - Mana costs reduced by 25% with mana over 0%.

Void Gauntlet and Rapier Build

The rapier works well with the Void Gauntlet as it is also an Intelligence-based weapon. It also allows players to fight and defend themselves when they are extra close to their enemies. This is meant to be more of a melee build, using the Annihilator skill tree of the Void Gauntlet. The majority of points should be dumped into Intelligence with Focus, Constitution, and Dexterity following behind.

Rapier Skills

Blood Skill Tree

  • Flurry - Five quick strikes each dealing more than the last, starting with 46.5% weapon damage and ending at 82.5%.
    • Overwhelm - Each Flurry hit deals 25% more block damage.
    • Fleeting Strikes - Each Flurry hit reduces its cooldown by 7%.
    • To the Bone - Each Flurry hit extend's the rapier's bleed by a second.
    • Finalize - The last Flurry hit will stagger the enemy.

Grace Skill Tree

  • Riposte - Defensive stance that allows the player to counter, dealing 50% weapon damage and stunning them for two seconds. Grants brief invulnerability.
    • Insult to Injury - Successfully done, all attacks become uninterruptable for three seconds.
    • Priority - Reduces the cooldown of rapier abilities by 20% when landing a Riposte stun.
    • Lasting Consequence - Stun lasts two and a half more seconds.
  • Fleche - Lunge 10 meters forward, piercing through enemies dealing 145% weapon damage.
    • Quick Lunge - Killing an enemy with this will reduce it's cooldown by 80%.
    • Backside - After the Fleche, the next critical strike within five seconds and deal 15% more damage.
    • Interruption - Pressing the light attack during Fleche will stop it and perform a static continuation attack dealing 115% damage.

Passive Skills

  • Desperation - Deal 10% more damage when the player's stamina is below 40%.
  • Red Curtains - Critical strikes reduce all cooldowns by 5%.
  • Perfectionist - Deal 10% more damage when the player's health is full.
  • Swiftness - Gain 3% haste for four seconds on rapier hits. Can stack 5 times.

Void Gauntlet Skills

Annihilation Skill Tree

  • Void Blade - Summons a blade of Void energy and converts into a basic melee. Base attacks deal 100% weapon damage and thrusts deal 150%. Both types inflict Disintegrate on successful hits, dealing 5% weapon damage per second and reducing damage absorption by 5% for eight seconds. Can stack three times. Lasts 15 seconds.
    • Forified Blade - Gain fortify, increasing damage absorption by 20% for five seconds.
  • Petrifying Scream - Unleash a void-infused scream, dealing 100% weapon damage, staggering and rooting enemies five meters in front of the player.
    • Bone-chilling Voice - Increases root duration from two seconds to three on targets below 50% health.
    • Fortifying Echoes - Gain fortify for each enemy hit, increasing damage absorption by 10% for 10 seconds per hit. Can stack three times.

Passive Skills

  • Keen Humility - Increases critical chance by 10% when all abilities are on cooldown.
  • Forsaken Pact - Deals 10% more damage while below 50% mana.
  • Empowering Proximity - Gain empower while casting abilities within five meters of an enemy, increasing damage by 10% for five seconds. Can stack three times.
  • Keen Confidence - Increases critical chance by 10% while above 50% health.

Void Gauntlet and Ice Gaunlet Build

This is a complete ranged wizard build, where players are able to switch back and forth between their gauntlets between ice and void. Due to this, it is a primary Intelligence-based build with some points in Focus, Constitution, and Dexterity.

Ice Gauntlet Skills

Ice Tempest Skill Tree

  • Ice Storm - Creates a five meter AOE storm dealing 17% weapon damage per every .33 seconds for a total of five seconds. Also creates a frozen area that slows enemies caught in it by 25%.
    • Weakening Gust - Damage is increased by 10% for three seconds against enemies in the storm below 50% health.
    • Storm Summoner - Mana cost is decreased by 80% when mana is full.
    • Punishing Storm - Increases damage by 10% for each enemy caught in the storm.

Passive Skills

  • Critical Rejuvenation - Gain 15 mana whenever achieving a critical hit.
  • Energized Critical - Critical damage is increased by 15% while the player's stamina is full.
  • Cold Reach - Increases damage of light and heavy attacks by 15% for targets further than 15 meters away.
  • Gathering Storm - Gain 15 mana whenever the player hits an enemy with three consecutive light attacks.
  • Critical Frost - Increases critical chance by 20% when hitting an enemy in a frozen area or an enemy with frostbite.

Builder Skill Tree

  • Ice Shower - Summons a shower of ice that creates a 1 meter by five meter AOE that lasts four seconds. Enemies are inflicted with frostbite. Frostbite roots for one second and blocks sprinting and dodging. Slows movement speed by 50% for three seconds after leaving the AOE.
    • Enduring Shower - Increases the duration of the Ice Shower to seven seconds.
    • Quick Shower - An ally, or the player will get a 25% movement speed boost for two seconds from entering the AOE.
    • Frigid Showers - Frostbite applies rend to a target, reducing their defense by 10%.
  • Entombed - Entombs the player in ice to make them invulnerable and increase their mana regen. Lasts for 10 seconds but can be destroyed early.
    • Strengthened Tomb - Increases defense by 25% for three seconds after breaking out.
    • Cleansing Tomb - Removes all debuffs when activated.

Passive Skills

  • Quick Frost - Increases movement speed in frozen areas by 10%.
  • Defiant Freeze - Applies a 20% fortify to the player for two seconds.
