How to complete the A Selfless Nature quest in New World

Completing this quest takes time.

To complete a Selfess Nature in New World quest, you must be at least level 50. In short, the quest will unlock in Edengrove, but the region is geared toward higher players. Because of this, we highly recommend leveling up to ensure you don't get destroyed the second you visit Edengrove. That said, once you are at the right level to be anywhere near Edengrove, you can start the quest by speaking to an NPC called Adiana.

Speaking to Adiana will start a Selfess Nature in New World, where you must slay a boss called a Well Guardian. However, doing so is not easy, so fighting the Well Guardian in groups of four or more is highly recommended. Because of this, we recommend joining a faction and joining a company. While in either one, use the faction or company chat to ask for help with completing the quest.

Tips for Beating the Well Guardian in New World

If you want to beat the Well Guardian and unlock the Strider of the Sands quest, we recommend using the following tips to your advantage.

  • Have High Constitution: In short, all party members should have a decent amount of points in Constitution to withstand and survive the fight with the Well Guardian.
  • Use Slashing and Fire damage: The Well Guardian is extremely weak to both Fire and Slashing damage, so we recommend bringing along a fire staff. Any tanks should also combine a sword and shield for decent damage and protection.
  • Place camp outside the Boss room: We highly recommend placing a camp so all party members can spawn and instantly jump back into the fight.
  • The Tank must keep Aggro: Whoever is the Tank must keep the boss's aggro on them so that the rest of the party can focus on dealing DPS.
