Get ready for battle and learn all of the classes, difficulty levels and fighting abilities for all 19 Pokémon in Unite!

In Pokémon Unite, learning the combat moves and abilities will help the Pokémon level up to its ultimate fighting potential in the battlefield. As Pokémon progress levels, players will unlock a new set of moves for their Pokémon to master.

Build up the ultimate fighter Pokémon by exploring these move sets and strategically matching each Pokémon with the best moves for the strongest results. With five classes that begin the builds for all 19 Pokémon, each with their own difficulty setting and special Unite Move, here's our list all combat and ability skills in Pokémon Unite.

Classes

  • Attacker
    • Pokémon with low endurance, but excel in dealing heavy ranged damage to enemies
  • Speedster
    • Pokémon with high mobility and offense stats, but excel in quick attacks and scoring points
  • All-Rounder
    • Pokémon with balanced offense and endurance stats and remain relentless in battle
  • Defender
    • Pokémon with high endurance that excel in protecting teammates and dealing damage to enemies
  • Supporter
    • Pokémon that excel in providing the team with support through healing teammates and inflicting status conditions to enemies

Pikachu

Basic Attack: Ranged
Difficulty: Novice
Unite Move: Thunderstorm

  • Static (Passive Skill)
    • When receiving damage, Static shocks/stuns opposing Pokémon, decreasing the enemies movement speed for a short time.
  • Thunder Shock (Lev. 1)
    • Shocks opposing Pokémon that are in the area of effect and stuns enemies for a short time.
  • Electro Web
    • Captures opposing Pokémon with an electric net that also stuns them.
  • Electro Ball (Lev. 4)
    • Throws an electric orb that deals damage and stuns opposing Pokémon for a short time.
  • Thunder
    • Summons lightening to strike opposing Pokémon in the area of effect.
  • Volt Attack (Lev. 6)
    • Electrically charges the players to powerfully leap forward to throw themselves into opposing Pokémon.
  • Thunderbolt
    • A powerful thunderbolt is summoned to stun opposing Pokémon in the area of effect.
  • Thunderstorm (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Creates an electric storm that will follow players as it strikes opposing Pokémon near by.

Greninja

Waterburst Shuriken

  • Torrent (Passive Skill)
    • When the players HP is at 50% or lower, damage and movement speed is increased.
  • Bubble (Lev. 1)
    • Attacks opponents with powerful bubbles that decreases their movement speed.
  • Substitute
    • Dashes forward, leaving behind a substitute for opposing Pokémon to attack instead.
  • Double Team (Lev. 5)
    • Players dash forward, leaving behind multiple copies of themselves for opposing Pokémon to attack instead.
  • Smokescreen
    • Makes players invisible.
  • Water Shuriken (Lev. 7)
    • Throws shurikens while increasing the players movement speed and takes HP from all opposing Pokémon that are struck.
  • Surf
    • Players will surf a wave of water that deals damage to opposing Pokémon and steals their HP.
  • Waterburst Shuriken (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Launches a giant shuriken of water that deals massive damage to the area of effect.

Venusaur

Unite Move: Verdant Anger

  • Overgrow (Passive Skill)
    • When players are at low HP, their damage output is increased.
  • Seed Bomb (Lev. 1)
    • Throws a seed that shatters and damages enemy Pokémon within the area of effect
  • Razor Leaf
    • Launches sharp leaves that damage everything they hit
  • Sludge Bomb (Lev. 5)
    • Throws sludge on the ground that will decrease movement speed and special defense to the opposing Pokémon that it hits, dealing damage over time.
  • Giga Drain
    • Steals HP from all enemy Pokémon within the area of effect and temporarily increases the players defense, while dealing damage.
  • Solar Beam (Lev. 7)
    • Fires a powerful beam of light that deals damage to enemy Pokémon within the area of effect.
  • Petal Dance
    • Scatters petals that deal damage to enemies within the area of effect and increases the players' movement speed.
  • Verdant Anger (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Launches a giant seed that shatters and deals damage to enemies in the area of effect and decreases their movement speed.

Alolan Ninetales

Snow Globe

  • Snow Warning (Passive Skill)
    • Avalanches enemy Pokémon with falling snow that deals damage and decreases their movement speed. Attack the same opponent multiple times, by slinging snow at them to temporarily freeze them.
  • Powder Snow
    • Attacks and decreases the movement speed of the opposing Pokémon within the area of attack with powdered snow.
  • Icy Wind
    • Attacks and decreases the movement speed of the opposing Pokémon within the area of attack with strong freezing wind.
  • Avalanche
    • Build a wall of ice to trap opponents. When the wall melts, it collapses and deals damage to enemy Pokémon.
  • Dazzling Gleam
    • Attack opposing Pokémon with a blinding light that leaves enemies stunned.
  • Blizzard 
    • Creates a howling blizzard that can split itself around obstacles and displaces enemy Pokémon when hit.
  • Aurora Veil
    • Creates an aurora around players and their teammates that protects them from receiving damage from opposing Pokémon and increases the movement speed of all Pokémon within the veil.
  • Snow Globe (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Summons a storm of snow and ice to attack enemy Pokémon. Deals additional damage to those that are frozen.

Cramorant

Gatling Gulp Missile

  • Gulp Missile (Passive Skill)
    • Swallows ammunition from enemy Pokémon, when they trigger a move. Then spits the prey out at the enemy as a counter-attack. The type of prey and effect differ based on the Pokémon's HP.
  • Whirlpool (Lev. 1)
    • Creates a whirlpool that deals damage to enemy Pokémon in the area of effect and deals increasing damage as it shrinks. Players can enter the whirlpool to catch other prey.
  • Feather Dance
    • A dance that decreases the attack and movement speed of opposing Pokémon for a short time.
  • Hurricane (Lev. 4)
    • Creates a powerful wind that throws opposing Pokémon who get caught in it and deals damage as they land.
  • Air Slash
    • Players will shoot blades of air, while jumping back to create distance
  • Surf (Lev. 6)
    • Summons a water wave that deals damage to enemy Pokémon, as it flows through. It rushes back the way it came in, with a powerful pull that takes opposing Pokémon with it. Players can enter the wave to draw in more prey.
  • Dive
    • Creates a puddle that will displace opposing Pokémon, when players dive into it. Players can dive into the puddle three times to draw in more prey.
  • Gatling Gulp Missile (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Creates a large puddle to dive into and spits prey out at the nearest opposing Pokémon.

Cinderace

Unite Move:
Blazing Bicycle Kick

  • Blaze (Passive Skill
    • Increases critical-hit rate and attack speed at low HP. Using moves boosts your next attack.
    • When players are at 50% or lower HP, their critical-hit rate and attack speed are increased and boosts their next basic attack.
  • Ember (Lev.1)
    • Hits the enemy Pokémon with a fireball
  • Low Sweep
    • A sliding attack that deals damage to enemy Pokémon and decreases their movement speed when hit by the next boosted attack.
  • Pyro Ball (Lev. 7)
    • Hits opposing Pokémon with an even bigger fireball
  • Blaze Kick
    • Attacks opposing Pokémon with a flaming kick
  • Flame Charge (Lev. 8)
    • Charge forward, blasting the area with flames. Also increases the range and damage for the next basic attack.
  • Feint
    • Players become invincible, while increasing their movement speed and removing any obstacles in the way.
  • Blazing Bicycle Kick (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Kicks a giant fireball that explodes when it lands, dealing damage to the area of effect and increases the players' movement speed.

Talonflame

Flame Sweep

  • Gale Wings (Passive Skill)
    • When players are at high HP, their movement speed is increased.
  • Peck (Lev. 1)
    • Fly towards an opposing Pokémon and attack them three times
  • Acrobatics
    • Fly toward a designated area to continuously attack opposing Pokémon and swiftly escape.
  • Flame Charge (Lev. 5)
    • Charge towards enemy Pokémon in flames, dealing damage with increased movement speed.
  • Aerial Ace
    • Charges quickly towards a targeted Pokémon and increases the power of the next basic move
  • Fly (Lev. 7)
    • Fly high into the sky and dive towards a designated area to attack opposing Pokémon.
  • Brave Bird
    • Target opposing Pokémon while enflamed in fire to deal damage to the area of effect.
  • Flame Sweep (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Charges forward over a long distance while cloaked in flame, shoving its opponents aside.

  • Super Luck (Passive Skill)
    • Increases the critical-hit rate.
  • Feint (Lev. 1)
    • Players dash in an arc, attacking opposing Pokémon in their path.
  • Slash
    • Players slash enemy Pokémon with sharp claws at an increased critical-hit rate.
  • Night Slash (Lev. 5)
    • Slash through a wide area while slowing opposing Pokémon. Leap forward while slashing to increase the critical-hit rate upon the second activation.
  • Pursuit
    • Dash towards an area to charge an enemy Pokémon with a basic attack. Reduce the cooldown and attack from behind.
  • Psycho Cut (Lev. 7)
    • Uses Psychic Blades to attack forward. On hit; causes the next three basic attacks to deal additional damage to the target.
  • Sucker Punch
    • Slams into and stuns enemy Pokémon from a distance.
  • Midnight Slash (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Unleashes a flurry of slashes and blades of energy that knocks opposing Pokémon back.

Gengar

Phantom Ambush

  • Levitate (Passive Skill)
    • When the Pokémon is not in combat, its movement speed is increased.
  • Will-O-Wisp (Lev. 1)
    • Shoots multiple sinister flames that burn and deal damage to opposing Pokémon when hit.
  • Lick
    • Players attack with their tongue and pulls opposing Pokémon closer.
  • Shadow Ball (Lev. 5)
    • Hurls a shadowy blob at the target, decreasing the movement speed and Special Defense of opposing Pokémon for a short time.
  • Sludge Bomb
    • Hurls unsanitary sludge to the designated area, leaving opposing Pokémon poisoned when it hits
  • Dream Eater (Lev. 7)
    • Launches hypnotic waves that shocks opponents and steals their HP.
  • Hex
    • Disappear and then reappear at the designated location, dealing damage to the opposing Pokémon that is poisoned, it deals increased damage and its cooldown is reduced.
  • Phantom Ambush (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Players will jump to the designated area and sneak around with increased movement speed. If used again, deals damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and decreases their movement speed for a short time

Charizard

    • Shields players as they charge forward in fire, damaging and displacing opponents in their path.

    • Charizard slams the enemy, causing massive damage.

  • Extreme Speed (Lev. 5)
    • Dashes forward on command with increased movement speed
  • Power-up Punch
    • Charges up to unleash a powerful punch, displacing opponents and boosting the next attack.
  • Bone Rush (Lev. 7)
    • Performs a combo attack, hitting opponents with a bone to stun them. The bone lands nearby and players can rush into it on second activation.
  • Close Combat
    • Attacks nearby opponents and knocks them back.
  • Aura Cannon (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Launches a massive energy blast

Machamp

  • Guts (Passive Skill)
    • Damage output is increased, when afflicted by a status condition
  • Karate Chop (Lev. 1)
    • Attack enemy Pokémon with a sharp chop
  • Bulk Up
    • Empowers the next basic attack while increasing movement and attack speed, making players immune to any obstacle in the way.
  • Close Combat (Lev. 5)
    • Throws several punches while walking, the last one hitting hardest and making players immune to hindrances.
  • Cross Chomp
    • Dashes forward with a crossed-arm chop that has a higher chance of critical hit.
  • Dynamic Punch (Lev. 7)
    • Leaps and punches the ground, damaging and stunning nearby opponents. Upon landing, boosts the players next basic attack, grants immunity and increases movement and attack speed.
  • Submission
    • Players become unstoppable and rushes forward, attacking from above to drop an opponent.
  • Barrage Blow (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Supercharges movement speed, attack damage, and defense (physical and special). On second activation: Unleashes a combo attack that damages and displaces nearby opponents. The final blow deals an especially large amount of damage.

Garchomp

Livid Outrage

  • Rough Skin (Passive Skill)
    • Reflects melee damage back at the attacker.
  • Bulldoze (Lev. 1)
    • Stomps the ground, damaging nearby opponents.
  • Sand Attack
    • Hurls sand to inflict opponents with near sight. When it hits, grants increased movement and attack speed.
  • Dig (Lev. 6)
    • Burrows underground, becoming untargetable. Erupts from the ground upon contact with an opponent, damaging and displacing opponents in an area. When combined with Earthquake, the eruption is larger.
  • Dragon Rush
    • Players dive in the designated direction, shoving opposing Pokémon.
  • Earthquake (Lev. 8)
    • Jump high into the air and crash forcefully to the ground, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect.
  • Dragon Claw
    • Players attack in two parts while dashing forward. The first deals damage to opposing Pokémon and throws them. The second deals increased damage and increases the players' basic attack speed.
  • Livid Outrage (Lev. 10 / Unite Move)
    • Unleashes a powerful chain attack. The final attack displaces opponents, but will stun Garchomp.

Snorlax

Power Nap

  • Gluttony (Passive Skill)
    • Increases the effects gained from eating Berries
  • Tackle
    • Charge forward belly first, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and decreasing their movement speed for a short time
  • Rest
    • Fall asleep on the spot to restore HP. Blocks the movement of all enemy Pokémon while this move is in effect.
  • Heavy Slam
    • Slams Snorlax's heavy body down, dealing damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and displaces them.
  • Flail
    • When HP is low, flail around to increase basic attack damage.
  • Block
    • Players will spread their arms wide to create shield that prevents Pokémon from passing through the wall and shoves opposing Pokémon that run into it.
  • Yawn
    • Release a huge yawn that lulls the opposing Pokémon into a sleepy haze, stunning them by putting them to sleep.
  • Power Nap (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Nods off and rolls around while sleeping to attack enemy Pokémon.

Crustle

Rubble Rouser

  • Sturdy (Passive Skill)
    • Defense and special defense and are increased as HP decreases.
  • Rock Slide (Lev. 1)
    • Showers the area of effect with rocks that stun enemy Pokémon.
  • Fury Cutter
    • Slashes opposing Pokémon with each successful hit dealing in more damage.
  • Rock Tomb (Lev. 4)
    • Creates a wall from the ground. Destroy the wall on the second activation.
  • Shell Smash
    • Smashes its shell to swap defenses for increased movement speed and attack damage.
  • Stealth Rock (Lev. 6)
    • Throws rocks that create levitation zones that cause damage to opposing Pokémon over time.
  • X-Scissor
    • Claws opponents multiple times, displacing them. Stuns opponents that get carried into terrain.
  • Rubble Rouser (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Shields players while throwing rocks at nearby opponents that explode on impact, damaging additional opponents in each blast zone.

Slowbro

Class: Defender
Basic Attack:

Difficulty: Intermediate
Unite Move:
Slow Beam

  • Oblivious (Passive Skill)
    • HP loss is gradual when receiving damage. When damaging an opponent with a move, the Pokémon nullifies some damage received, and decreases the target's Special Defense.
  • Water Gun (Lev. 1)
    • Shoots a powerful stream of water that displaces opponents by stunning them and knocking them back.
  • Slack Off
    • Lay down to rest, while continuously regaining health. The longer players rest, the more health it recovers.
  • Scald (Lev. 4)
    • Shoots scalding water that deals damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and lowers the speed and the attack of the enemy Pokémon.
  • Surf
    • Charge forward while surfing on waves. The first wave deals damage to opposing Pokémon in the area of effect and displaces them.
  • Amnesia (Lev. 6)
    • Players will clear their minds to regain some health. When finished, players will enter a status-immune state and increases defense and damage dealt by special moves.
  • Telekinesis
    • Makes opposing Pokémon float with psychic power. If used again, pulls the opposing Pokémon toward the user.
  • Slow Beam (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • Locks opponents in place, but stuns players as well. Be sure to have some backup from allies before using.

Eldegoss

Unite Move:
Cotton Cloud Crash

  • Cotton Down (Passive Skill)
    • Damages and slows the opposing Pokémon after taking enough damage. Also restores HP and increases movement speed.
  • Leafage (Lev. 1)
    • Throws leaves at opposing Pokemon, dealing damage and decreasing their movement speed.
  • Synthesis
    • Restores the HP of players and ally Pokémon nearby.
  • Pollen Puff (Lev. 4)
    • Throws a Pollen Puff that attaches to a Pokémon and restores HP for an ally and deals damage to enemies.
  • Leaf Tornado
    • Blasts a tornado of sharp leaves that will increase the movement speed of ally Pokémon in the area.
  • Cotton Guard (Lev. 6)
    • Protects players and nearby ally Pokémon with cotton that absorbs damage and restores HP.
  • Cotton Spore
    • Surrounds players with spores that absorb damage and burst to deal damage to opposing Pokémon.
  • Cotton Cloud Crash (Lev. 9 / Unite Move) 
    • Float into the air to slam down onto the ground, restoring HP to allies and dealing damage to opposing Pokémon.

Mr. Mime

Unite Move:
Showtime

  • Filter (Passive Skill)
    • Reduces the damage received by the Pokémon for a short time after it uses a move.
  • Fake Out (Lev. 1)
    • Makes players slap hands together, shoving opposing Pokémon back.
  • Light Screen
    • Creates a wall of light in the designated area that prevents opposing Pokémon from passing.
  • Confusion (Lev. 4)
    • A frontal attack that deals damage to opposing Pokémon and shoves them back.
  • Psychic
    • A telekinetic blast on players and any guard-swapped opposing Pokémon, stunning and damaging all opposing Pokémon that are hit and lowering their Special Defense for a short time.
  • Barrier (Lev. 6)
    • Creates a translucent wall that prevents opposing Pokémon from passing. This move's cooldown begins after two walls have been placed.
  • Guard Swap
    • Temporarily swaps the players' defense and Special Defense stats with another Pokémon that deals damage overtime and decreases their movement speed while increasing the players' movement speed. Swapping with an ally Pokémon increases their movement speed.
  • Showtime (Lev. 9 / Unite Move)
    • A mysterious pantomime that stuns opponents in the area around it.

Wigglytuff

Star Recital

  • Cute Charm (Passive Skill)
    • Nearby opponents become infatuated for a short time when attacked, slowing their attack speed.
  • Pound (Lev. 1)
    • Smacks the opponent, dealing damage and decreasing their movement speed.
  • Defense Curl
    • Gains a shield and rolls into opponents, displacing them. Impacting terrain causes players to bounce and resets the cooldowns for other special moves.
  • Rollout (Lev. 4)
    • A more powerful version of Defense Curl. Gains a shield and rolls into opponents, displacing them. Impacting terrain causes players to bounce and resets the cooldowns for other special moves.
  • Sing
    • Sing at opponents, slowing them. Opponents caught in the song for long are put to sleep, and their defenses weaken.
  • Double Slap (Lev. 6)
    • Smacks the opponent multiple times, dealing damage and decreasing its movement speed.
  • Dazzling Gleam
    • Emits a powerful light that damages an opponent twice.
  • Star Recital (Lev. 8 / Unite Move)
    • Shields players and nearby allies, cleansing everyone of hindrances.
