Everything to know about Apex Legends Ranked Split 2

Ranked Split 2 has arrived!

Apex Legends extended the first Ranked Split of Season 10 due to server issues, but the second Ranked Split has finally arrived. The second Ranked Split launched today at 11:00 am PT in the classic King's Canyon Map.

While the first Ranked Split was extended, Ranked Split 2 will probably not be as long and run until the end of Season 10. However, players may notice a change between the splits this season. Most noticeably, players have their rank soft reset. According to Respawn Entertainment, the soft reset will put players back one and a half Ranked tiers.

Having a soft reset encourages players to play more Ranked to rise further in the ranks, but it also may upset many players who worked hard to reach a certain tier in the first Ranked Split. If the second Ranked Split is shorter than normal, the soft reset may affect players even more.

On the bright side, Ranked Split 2 being held in King's Canyon will make many longtime players happy since the classic map started it all. King's Canyon is still lacking Skull Town, but the addition of Caustic's Lab and the ECHO Camps in the last seasons will be interesting for landing spots.

The Ranked Tiers will remain the same for Ranked Split 2, but players should remember the soft reset when first checking their tier. Players can earn the Ranked rewards for Season 10, along with the tiers in the image above.
