Best Furina build in Genshin Impact – Weapons, Artifacts, & more!

Genshin Impact's beloved Hydro Archon, Furina, is a five-star Hydro sword user who specializes in dealing off-field damage and buffing the team, and can additionally function as a healer. Every Archon in the game has a well-fleshed-out kit, and Furina is no different.

Best weapons for Furina in Genshin Impact

Furina plays many roles, but her most important stat boots are HP and Energy Recharge. Stay away from Attack, as it doesn't benefit her Skill and Burst Damage. Some weapon options include:

Five-star options

• Splendor of Tranquil Waters (best-in-slot)
• Key of Khaj-Nisut (HP option)
• Primordial Jade Cutter (DPS and HP option)

Four-star options

• Fleuve Cendre Ferryman (ER option; alternative to Festering Desire)
• Festering Desire (ER option; best four-star)
• Favonius Sword (ER option)
• Wolf-Fang (DPS option)

Best Artifacts for Furina in Genshin Impact

While Furina has a multifaceted kit, most of her support utility depends on her Elemental Burst. Your goal is to keep her Burst up as much as possible, which involves stacking Energy Recharge on Furina. You will need approximately 160 to 200% ER depending on your team comp. I suggest playing around with these numbers to find your preferred value.

• Sands: HP or ER
• Goblet: HP or Hydro Damage
• Circlet: Crit Rate or Crit Damage (aim for your ideal ratio)
• Substats: HP, ER, Crit Rate or Crit Damage (aim for your ideal ratio)

Meanwhile, for Artifact sets, there is only one set that I would recommend giving to Furina:

  • Boosts Furina's Elemental Skill Damage by up to 75%, depending on whether she's on or off the field.

Best team for Furina in Genshin Impact

Furina can do a lot for the team, and she especially pairs well with characters who require their HP to go up and down to trigger Artifact or weapon passives. Her Elemental Burst also provides a Damage boost of up to 75%, but only when triggering Amplifying and Additive Reactions. She cannot boost Transformative Reactions.

When playing Furina, keep in mind that only her Ousia Alignment (white outfit) will summon creatures with her Elemental Skill. You can change Alignments via her Charged Attack.

With that said, some of Furina's best teammates and team comps include:

• Characters who use items requiring HP manipulation -
  • These items include the Meracheussee Hunter, Cashflow Supervision, and Tome of the Eternal Flow.
  • They require the wielder's HP to constantly increase and decrease to provide a passive boost. You can trigger the effect by using Furina's Elemental Skill to drain the team's HP via her Elemental Skill and getting a healer to offset the decrease.
• Healer
  • Furina's Elemental Skill will drain the entire team's HP every time the summons hit. She absolutely needs to be paired with a team-wide healer to offset the draining and promote survivability. Some examples include Jean, Baizhu, and Charlotte (off-field), or even Qiqi (on-field).
• Additive and Amplying Team Comps
  • Furina's buff can boost teams that deal Additive and Amplifying Reactions, which include Melt, Vaporize, Spread, and Aggravate.
  • Furina cannot boost Transformative Reactions, which are Overloaded, Shattered, Electro-Charged, Superconduct, Swirl, Burning, Bloom, Hyperbloom, and Burgeon.
